@Elimshadifam : no you dont make it,it's someone else's sculpt..dumbass
Sorry for being so late with the response, but I tend to avoid any topics involved with spoilers. But yes, this can be it's own topic. It's about merchandising, but it's not really talking about the merchandising itself.
Alright i will make the first one as the finish product..
GMAN2887-Since you mentioned Kamen Rider and Ultraman, another tokusatsu hero I want to see (in live action) is Guyver (well actually I suppose he is more of a manga hero). The first American Guyver film was atrocious and simply unwatchable. However, the relatively little known American sequel, Guyver: Dark Hero (also in live action as opposed to anime) was actually quite entertaining, darker and far superior to its predecessor. It won't win an Oscar, but for its budget, the film was pretty satisfying.
If I'm not mistaken, it was directed by Steve Wang, better known as the make-up artist for flicks such as Predator and Aliens. I read in an interview that Wang was a huge fan of Ultraman and other Tokusatsu heroes. If there will ever be another live action attempt for Guyver, Steve Wang should be the one directing it.
Let's cut to the chase. All this talk about the future of modern kaiju hinges on one central fact, how it will do at the box office. How much does the studio think this movie should make to consider it a success? For all the critical panning the 98' movie received, in terms of box offce take, it was actually not too bad. But evidently not good enough for the studio (Sony) since they pass on the chance to make a sequel.
Do more like this. Seriously, nicely done.
You are a very good drawer.
I think he will use it at least twice.
Tell that kid to get F**KED, excuse my profainity. Yes, we pretty much are nerds but isn't everybody a nerd? Different people are different kinds of nerds in different categories. For example, there are sport nerds. People who are heavily into watching sport are nerds in my opinion. People who like action/superhero movies are also nerds. We are Godzilla Nerds and proud of it. Don't worry about that kid, he will never be cool enough to be a G fan.
I'm a fire drake, but I live near lake town....

It's awesome. Ignore ATREE03, being in the shadows you can't even tell. The red, and misty feel to this poster is really awesome. I kinda wish more of the posters for the film were like this.
@DURATOK It's a reference to the AVGN review of Godzilla games. It's hilarious
And yes, to a certain degree. Being a nerd isn't a bad thing, I mean I've got a room covered in videogame, superhero, monster, and movie lore; I'm sorry but that makes me a nerd. Who cares?
First one for sure. maybe add some background
Too bad it's not the official godzilla design
Camaxel, that is excess to absurd levels. You've earned yourself a ton of creepy motherf*cker points.
lemme guess, middle school.
its not just godzilla but our culture as a whole, where liking pokemon was too nerdy in middle school, but when you get to high school/college all of a sudden being a "nerd" and liking pokemon is so retro and cool.
Yeah, i think i drew the gills more pronounced than what it should be like..thanks anyway
Ohhmahhgoodness, they be amazing ;D
He looks very fishlike too, but that's what makes it even more amazing haha
Whoever called you a nerd certainly does not know the wrath of Godzilla. He is gonna suck Baragon's sweaty ballsac. This kid will get an electric shock from sucking Mecha-Godzilla's mechanical weiner! he is gonna get shit drizzling out of the Smog Monster's rancid putrid a-hole, and then, being swallowed and barfed up by Anguirus while he lay on his spikes getting Gigan's buzzsaw up his ass, while Destoroyah dumps his diabolical diarrhea all over his face!!
^Well at least those look better imo.
Yes, you're a nerd. I'm a nerd, we're all nerds.
Being a nerd isn't anything to be ashamed of. If that kid thinks nerds are strange, then he must be from the 1980's. Nerds rule media right now, it's kind of awesome to be us right now.
That doesn't make you guys nerds. That would be like saying one of us on JW are nerds for liking Jurassic Park. That like saying someone is homophobic because the like rainbows or are neat freaks. Sorry if I used a bad example, those aren't my strong points.
I think he is wrong and also small-minded. Why label a person based on what they like? I never undestood that mentality. Anyways, who says being a Nerd is a bad thing. :D
Hes a D*ck or thats his grade
and no, I dont think so.
Mean should be here March 28th. I am counting down the days.
I'm 50. Its great to see some of you young uns on here!
My giant sized Godzilla will be here March 26th.
Quite excited if I said so myself.
actually if you look very closely at the toy (chibi) you'll see that godzilla's leg has lost some skin (scales) and godzilla's tail lost the scutes so my guess? the 8-legged muto beat godzilla up pretty bad (maybe this is the halo jump scene?)
I've actually been meaning to post a topic about this for some time. I haven't heard many people talking about the Damaged Godzilla for a while, and the Godzilla chibi that is packaged in the 8 Legged Muto definitely has battle damage. I've seen people complain about factory errors on their toys, but its all intended and on purpose damage in the sculpt. I own the pack, and the Godzilla features missing scales on both legs, and deep scratches and gouges on his chest and tail. Its not as drastic as I had imagined (I had crazy images of missing fingers and cracked/blown off spines in my mind!), but its still some serious damage to Godzilla! I have a feeling Godzilla's battles with the Mutos will definitely leave him beat up, and chances are we will see him get progressively more scratched and messed up as the film goes on, like Batman in Arkham Asylum! :)
This isn't without precident though. Godzilla vs Hedorah featured Godzilla get progressively more beat up as the film went on. By the end, he had a messed up eye, no skin on his hand, and he had been beaten, dropped, submerged in slime, and nearly suffocated! So he can take a lickin', but keep on kickin'! :D
Yup mine is G 2k also live the purple spines and unlike most godzillas he shoots orange atomic breath.
"What to do: the person above you says something weird/crazy and that it means that Rodan will be in the movie (#RodanConfirmed)"
Sorry can't come up with anything.
The mutos weaknesses are godzilla's atomic breath.
#RODANCONFORMED
And blast i was going to say something else.
@GMAN2887
indeed, ive always thought of him as being one of the toughest even if he isnt the biggest, the way i see it, godzillas size doesnt always matter. certainly doesnt hurt him to be so big though!
1. LegendaryGoji
-He's just so...powerful looking. This guy is such a beast! He has a noble look in his face, but still the ferocity of Godzilla! I love this design to pieces!
2. KiryuGoji
-Why do people not like this design? He looks so awesome! His eyes pierce into you, and literally tells you "I'm gonna getchu"!
3. MegaroGoji
-This Godzilla design is one of the kid-friendly ones. I really like this Godzilla, despite the hate he recieves. He's cute, but can still kick some serious tail!
4. MusukoGoji
-Toothy, ugly, and bulky; but a great parent. :)
I agree Real, it is something fun to speculate over, and the people who instantly started making it into a joke don't seem to have to imagination to speculate such things, it would be an interesting topic.
Dat life sized one tho...
@DURATOK
Zilla's breath attack was basically that. His roar caused objects to explode and the heavy sound waves from it propelled the explosion/flames forward. It's a pretty realilistic alternate to atomic breath, and he did it 2 times in the 98 film and once in Final Wars.
