What made me a Godzilla fan? What inspired me to blindly love a giant, irradiated, atomic-laser breathing dinosaur capable of destroying entire cities within minutes and fought giant monsters to the death?
Why, it was the giant, irradiated, flamable breath wielding iguana that I had known for years as Godzilla.
Zilla.
I was young. I watched the movie. I was exhilerated. I wanted everything with the mere word Godzilla plastered on it.
Long live Big G!
that was planned but they scrapped that
actually there are rumors that the godzilla from final wars is junior
A Ludicrous thought to a realistic discussion? Hmm! Well since neither of them actually exist, how realistic are we talking? This seems to be more of an opinionated discussion, and my opinion is that Kong would whoop his ass "IF" they were in the same height and weight division. That's all, just an opinion.
ok know if you were toho what would you do?
The box itself is my favorite part. The image of Godzilla on it is amazing. I'd love to have that on a black shirt with no other logos or text.
It is evident that some of the people replying to this are blind to the creature obviously in the background of which is juggling itself in a manner of amusement/excitement/aggression.
If one pays close enough attention, it is clearly visible in the background. Whatever it is, it does not resemble anything I have seen as of yet.
Possibly, the dense fog/smoke is obscuring a MUTO, which is most likely, as it is far too small to be Godzilla.
I said it above, any related project was droped.
yeah i know it's his opinion but why only battra, no offence but battra is no way as icoinic as other hollywood monsters, i see more Xenomorpth influence than battra. i doubt that gareth edwards has even seen GvsM 92
nothing, they never continue that
Personal favorites:
-Gojira
-King Kong vs Godzilla (The Japanese version of course. I love the original score for Godzilla in Japanese version)
-Destroy All Monsters (a classic)
-Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla (1974) and Terror of Mechagodzilla (The second is better, but it is a better to give a try one with its sequel)
-Godzilla vs Biollante
-Godzilla vs King Ghidorah
-Godzilla vs Space Godzilla (features my favorite villain)
-Godzilla 2000
-Godzilla: Final Wars (It has very bad reviews due the exaggerated effects and the rush in the plot; but it is bad only if it is taken too seriously. If you watch it in the proper point of view you can have some fun. It was the first Godzilla film that made laugh like a madman the first time I watched the kaiju fighting sequences; the best part is when Godzilla confronts Anguirus, Rodan and King Caesar. When King Caesar gets angry just before the end of the battle is priceless. Do someone have a gift of this?)
International trailer shows fire fighers from outside view and them looking out of damaged bldg view.
Zilla in a Godzilla game would be quite an amazing dig. Not only because it's a bold step by the creators of said game, but also because it would introduce a frail character bent solely on speed and quick attacks.
Zilla Jr. on the other hand would be quite bland in and of himself, because he would be particularly overpowered. Why? He possesses Godzilla's powers and invulnerability (to a slightly lesser extent) as well as his speed, thus, making him too well-rounded.
In the end, I hope one, the other, or both get their own game appearances. They deserve it.
i know he absorbs it but what happens after that
THose are only the planes crashing against the water, and the leaing thing I think is a pilot coming out from the plane via ejector seat in order to open the parachute.
This pic reveals something odd. Looks like the same type of "gill plates" run down the front too. Gills are usually just on opposite sides. Maybe its all just neck plates (scales), not gills
he continues the legacy of his farther (heisei godzilla) that's it.
He was about to die, but it is supposed after the meltdown he absorbed the radiation from his dad and powered up into a full grow Godzilla-monster. There was the rumor that Toho prepared a Greenish Godzilla suit in order to make a sequel featuring Jr as the new GOdzilla, but the project was droped.
its not really neca it is the timeline of Godzilla 2014
for reals thats cool thanks for telling us Josh your the man
Lucky!
Also, that Muto is starting to look a lot like Gyaos.
Okay, well, thanks for all your advice, Gman! :)
Awesome, great find. I really want that bag.

check the 'communication records' then you'll see that he ignored some phone calls with a few if voice mails
It was. :) I knew WB was sending me "something", I had no idea it was going to be this much stuff though!
Eh, the Heisei series tries really hard to stay connected, but in truth the previous films rarely have an enormous impact on the next one. They tend to explain whatever happened previously in the current film so the audience is all caught up.
Well if there are specific ones you want to see, by all means, go for those first. I think personal enjoyment is very important if you want to go into the other films any passion. But it's your call.
As for DVD/Bluray going out of print... It tends to happen a lot with movies in this genre, but right now I think you're safe. Godzilla vs. Biollante is the only one about to be lost again. If I hear anything else I'll update here.
And as always keep your eye out for the new releases, they'll be least likely to go out-of-print too soon (unless something happens with their distributors...) : Official Godzilla Bluray/DVD Re-release Thread
I am a little rusty on my Hindu mythology, but aren't the likes of Shiva, Vishnu & Krishna just aspects of the same all-encompassing, all-creating and all-destroying force? Yeah, just looked it up. Shiva, Vishnu & Krishna are all merely different incarnations of the same Supreme Force/Supreme God. The only way I can see the whole 'And Vishnu took on his multi-armed form, and declared "I have become Death, Destroyer of Worlds" is if the multi-limbed MUTO is some sort of gigantic water-bear.It seems like the film is setting up an almost Unstoppable Force meets Immovable Object.
..
FUCK!
They're *all* the same. Godzilla, the MUTOs. They're all different incarnations of the same Supreme Force. Namely, nuclear power. Symbolically, not literally, I hope that is obvious. Why are things radioactive? Because the particles are decaying. That's what gives off various forms of radiation. I am become Death? In so many words, yes. Entropy. Destroyer of Worlds? Nuclear weapons can do that.
Right. Enough of my painkiller-aided insight.
This is a fantastic find, and I will add it to the Merchandising Thread. But it can stay since it gives us a posing of Godzilla we've yet to see. I'll edit it around to better suit the non-merchandising part of this topic.
Thank again for a fantastic addition!
although the heisei series isn't very episodic, especially after GvsMG2 or GvsKG
ComicBook.com got one too! Man, I want one so bad! Getting this must have been so awesome, Chris!
you do know that was not a call right it was a letter but you are on to something and good thinking
Wow, thanks Gojifan101! I had no idea that all that stuff was available. A bit expensive, though.
Either the original Gojira or Godzilla vs. mothra (1964).
Okay, well, I think I'll try to watch all of them in order then. There are certain ones I want to see personally, but I think doing it in order would be the best way to go. So besides Godzilla Vs. Biollante, I might try and see if I can get the movies from the first to the last. Unless there are anymore that are going to stop being released on DVD like Godzilla Vs. Biollante.
