One of the first problems with this theory is that this isn't Godzilla 1954. This is its own film with its own lore and history. You cannot compare or link two films that do not have any direct connection. To do so is a folly and nullifies any logic or evidence you present.
As far as the gills, it's understandable why he has them. To breath underwater, he HAS to have them. No creature on earth has ever truly breathed underwater without the use of some form of internal or external gills. Anyone who says otherwise knows absolutely nothing about the laws of nature.
It's nice to see you enthusiastic about trying to figure this out BIGBADBEN, but you cannot make these kinds of connections between two films that have no direct link such as these.
Yeah scientists are conflicted with each other about the whole thing
yeah, but weren't there a couple scientists saying that the sound was too loud and big to be an icequake?
The vast majority of legitimate scientists acknowledge that 'The Bloop' was a real sound.
They also pretty much agree that it was an underwater icequake or some other geological event, not an animal sound.
And even the few quacks who still believe it is an animal noise, even those believe it is from an unknown animal that is simply more efficient at making sound, not necessarily something really big.
Old news:
MATT FRANK HAS SEEN A CLIP FROM GODZILLA (2014)! PLUS AUDIENCE PHOTO!
I appreciate your enthusiasm to keep everyone updated, but I gotta close this topic. No hard feelings. :)
My plan is to see it in IMAX 3D. I've NEVER seen a movie in IMAX 3D, though, so you probably shouldn't really listen to me. XD
Pfft. TOTALLY fell for it. XD
Happy April Fools!
I'm gonna try to see all three, even though I'm not a HUGE fan of 3D. I don't dislike it, but it works better for some movies than others. Avatar was breathtaking in 3D IMAX, but Clash of the Titans was lackluster... but that wasn't just the 3D's fault. I missed Pacific Rim in 3D AND IMAX, which will haunt me for the rest of my life. I will NOT miss seeing Godzilla in either format, in addition to the standard release! I'd say aim for IMAX for sure, but I bet the 3D for this film will be awesome, so if you can see both, do it! Its not every day that a new Godzilla movie comes out, especially in theaters in the US!!!! :)
3D IMAX first, without a DOUBT! Then experience it the other ways if you want.
Seriously, man. You've created seven topics in the last 48 hours, the majority of them either presenting topics that are embaressingly inacurate or ideas that have little relevance or potential for discussion. Its hard enough to figure out what you are saying half the time with your seeming inability to form a punctually sound sentence, but that's beside the point.
I see no need to discuss banning or get nasty, but I erge you to be more selective in your topic choices and frequency. Just my suggestion. :)
You don't know too much about Hindu mythology do you? Shiva, Vishnu, ect aren't separate entities. They're just different incarnations of the same thing.
Thanks man. I like to think that eventually I'll recreate every Toho and Daiei monster there is, every version, and then move into the myriad kaiju series' as well. I may need to live to be 150, but I'll do it!
Dude, that Orga is amazing.
You should try GMK Godzilla or FW Godzilla sometime.
Can you please not spam topics just because you thought of one little thing?
Yup. It looks fantastic. Nice job.
REALLY, REALLY AWESOME!!!!!!!! Dude, you did a great job! :) He looks really incredible, especially in how the paint job makes the details in the sculpt pop! I hope you can get some sound into him! :D
EPIC!!!!!!!! :D Thanks, Chris! I'm gonna print these bad boys out and hang them on my wall!
@KingKaijuGojira
It's all in good fun! :) Happy April Fools!
ENTIRELY your preference.
I personally don't enjoy 3-D, regardless of the movie. I've even tried it on movies it was 'meant' for like Avatar and stuff like that and I just don't like it very much. Gives me a slight headache a lot of the time. If a movie isn't shot for 3-D (which Godzilla wasn't I don't think) then there usually is no perk to seeing in 3-D except for some occassional particle effects like dust or debris.
I'm a huge IMAX fan though. I think this movie is going to be FANTASTIC on the IMAX with the huge screen and enveloping sound. Can't wait to feel the bass vibrations across the seats match up with Godzilla's stomping footsteps Jurassic Park style :-)
But that's just me. Go see it how you like you seeing movies. People have different tastes for these kinds of things.
i dont know i would go both or all 3
Hahaha sorry InstinctiveGigan! Just get a lot of friends to join in via your link, it ups your chances of winning! ;)
I wouldn't say ban him... but can you stop him from making new threads?
No problem. :)
Thank god for moms!
Ok thanks man
Its a cameo. He filmed with Gareth for a whole day in a scene set in an airport. This has been confirmed. The experience was recounted by Takarada to G-Fan publisher J.D. Lees, who wrote about it in an issue that was released last year.
The end.
An I fell for it hook, line and sinker. Well played. Happy April Fools!
What the sam scratch am I looking at?! What is this all about?!
WHAT DOES IT ALL MEEEEAAAAN?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Does this mean we will be getting something new here in a bit? A new trailer? A new poster? I'm not on Twitter, so I leave the discovering up to you guys. :) This is definitely a viral marketing tease, but what is ita for?! Oh, the waiting...
And what's this about a Muto/Godzilla poster?!?!?!?! Is this a real thing? Did anybody see it or, better yet, save it?!?!
@DanZilla93
Haha! And a Happy April Fools day to you too! :)

Heeeeeeeey... that wasn't from Godzilla!
That was hysterical!!!! Happy April Fools Day, Daikaiju_Danielle! :)
Godzilla: Battle for Cascadia.
Taking place in 2011, Godzilla is awoken by the earthquake and subsequent Fukushima disaster in Japan. He swims towards the Pacific Northwest in North America and lands at Port Renfrew, Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada where he meets Skookum, a kaiju resembling King Caesar except more apelike. Godzilla easily defeats Skookum and then swims to Coupeville, Whidbey Island in Washington, USA. The United States military moves in on Godzilla from the Naval Air Station on Whidbey Island. Meanwhile, a catastrophic eruption at Mt. Rainier releases Thunderbird, a flying kaiju similar in design to Rodan and the Giant Condor. Thunderbird destroys Puyallup and Tacoma before converging on downtown Seattle where Godzilla is already waiting. The battle that ensues levels the entire city before Godzilla finally defeats Thunderbird and he disappears into Puget Sound.
Thank God my Mom is a Gfan, and over 18 years old! ;D
Holy paragraphs!
Demplex, I feel you.
Bull****, I have to be 18 years or older!
Jeez, lots of good stuff!
1) It's a photoshopped edit a fan made.
2) This would go in the Official Godzilla (2014) Merchandising Thread
3) Topic Closed.
