XD TOO FUNNY I LAUGHED SO HARD !!!!!
Most Kaiju/ enemies that Godzilla fought, did have some sort of "special weapon" like energy breath or lazer. So it is quite likely MUTO will have it as well. It could be the EMP, or something else...
I'm glad Chris put them there. And ~TheLoon I'm glad you agree.
Also, for those who don't know, the screenshots are in the gallery :D

Well I can see the red banding of the MUTO in one of the clips, so I guess that confirms they do have a sort of "eye".
The only question now is whether these MUTO go through certain lift stages and evolve...
Gojira2k, my thoughts exactly.
It would be cool, but it is probably is just dust or mist. It would still be cool, but I would prefer a energy breath weapon.
In the first picture it shows the shockwave the arm produces with the red glow.
Here's the NECA page, featuring dozens of pictures.
In response to Gojira2k's theory, I must agree that this:

Is Hokmuto's arm. Well, a Muto. What I am to guess is that this is directly after
The background is so extremely similar, and it looks like the circle of sunken concrete is also in both. Just a thought.
It's only a children's toy.
By this logic, there'll be 4 mutos in the film because the chibis look different.
@Barudarrowi.. It also looks like the cloud is an EMP of sorts, it blows out the flashlights on their guns. That would also fit with why the jets are falling out of the sky. No power.
The only known MUTO attack is an EMP. I don't think there'll be a breath attack.
And what's suggesting that Godzilla wasn't moving in that shot? That shot we had of Godzilla I believe was literally less then a second long.
This is front page worthy I think. Nice find KaijuJira!
Ive seen muto theirs actally a nother monster biting a train in half and looks differnet if you look carfully you'll see it very clearly. Muto winged form thats what your seeing hes just a monster on his own. Theirs different monster Gawath if thats his name but he said that Godzilla is actally going to be like godzilla destroy all monsters.
The cloud in the power plant looks very similar to the cloud that hits the soldiers outside the train tunnel. Coud the muto have it's own biological weapon, like how Godzilla has atomic breath? If so, would it help level the playing field against Godzilla?
"The size of the MUTO standing above the train is definitely smaller than the MUTO that is fighting Godzilla.
I do hope they reconcile that via something in the plot, rather than just have the MUTO change sizes that drastically from shot to shot. "
Most likely. People have already been speculating that the Muto metamorphosises through the film. Change of size would be the "easier" part of that.
Nice. That is hilarious.
MEGAGUIRUS Pretty much is.
Lol the expression on his face.
This is from NECA, right? Looks super cool combined with those effects.
I dunno.
On one hand, I don't think they want to get into the territory of little baby MUTO's and repeat some 1998 cheesiness.
On the other hand, those things feeding off the missile in the trailer definitly looked like eggs, and was probably the bottom half of that glowing cacoon that was shown in the tv spot.
That, and the movie description (which might be exaggerated) says that the MUTO threaten our very existence. To threaten our existence, reproduction has to be involved, because a handful of powerful individuals might be able to trash a few cities, but would hardly pose a real threat of human extinction. You would need to have a lot of them to pose that threat.
So yeah, I don't really want a pregnant MUTO angle in the movie, and if there is one, I do hope they handle it well so it doesn't become cheesy, but I'd give it a 60/40 shot that the MUTO reproduce or pose a threat of reproducing in this film.
Very funny! You actually had me going there for a second. Awesome joke, let's see everyone else's reactions.
Well, there certainly are worse things he could have been doing on the internet! Haha
Haha!! Nice one, Chris! XD
Anything's POSSIBLE until the movie comes out, but I highly doubt we will see two Godzillas. They MIGHT find the remains of a Godzilla ancestor...maybe (those bones in the trailer) but it's most likely just going to be one living Godzilla for the film.
And regardless of whether there are two Godzilla's, there has been absolutely NOTHING shown in any of the trailers or interviews to suggest there is any ice or artic scene in this movie at all. So finding him in ice is probably just bogus from that fake leaked script. Right now they seem to be airing on the subterranean route, rather than 'frozen in glacier' route.
It could be but I think not. Cause gareth plan was to make this movie without any sequels, but that dosent mean the muto could be with child. Anythings possible.
ok i was just kidding if a muto was to be pregnant it may well have been femuto(flying) rather than hakmuto(eight legged)considering femuto ,FE-muto might mean female ,also according to that script (which may or may not still be legit ) Mutos hunt godzillas in pairs ,so that would be the best way they could make it work into the movie. but we will have to see when the movie gets realeased- so untill then !
Who gives a shit! It's godzilla
No , mutos look nothing like pasta sauce
TROLL TIME:
Did anyone else notice that the Muto is biting the exact spot where Godzilla's gills are supposed to be????
The Muto has found his weakness!!!! DUN DUN DUN!!!!
In the scene where you see the Mutos on the monitor, the Winged Muto is about to take flight.
The size of the MUTO standing above the train is definitely smaller than the MUTO that is fighting Godzilla.
I do hope they reconcile that via something in the plot, rather than just have the MUTO change sizes that drastically from shot to shot.
What I do really like, is how the MUTO, while being a similar size to Godzilla is a very different style of combatant. It will be really fun to see the two different types of opponents go at each other.
Sometimes, in fight scenes of any genre, if both battlers fight the same way, it can get stale. One of the many reasons why Batman vs Liam Neeson fight scenes were was less memorable than Batman vs Joker or Bane scenes in the Nolan movies, just as an example.
Godzilla vs Muto is shaping up have those dynamic stylistic differences in how they fight which should make it very fun to watch.
But watch out G-Fans!!!! I looks like the Muto has spotted Godzilla's weakness and is biting after his gills!!!! Trolololol :-)
I knew it!!! ;) lol
Wow, this sounds very interesting. Can't wait for the rest.
