The Extended Look Godzilla Trailer Thread

I saw this pic in another thread but I couldn't tell what I was looking at other than Godzilla... Well from what I've heard the flying MUTO is supposed to be close to Godzilla's size and a formidable opponent so it may be size not distance
U DONT EVEN KNOW MY STRUGGLE WITH GETTIN MY FINGER TO MOVE FAST ENUGH TO PAUSE IT AT THE RIGHT MOMENT XD LOL
All I see is Godzilla and what looks like a building in the foreground of this picture.
Something seems wrong with Godzilla here. Taking in count the time that takes the halo jump and the fact that Godzilla is almost immobile all that time and now, the Muto is over it and he STILL “looks” immobile, I think that in this scene (this is just pure speculation), Godzilla is somehow paralyzed by the Muto, just like giant wasps do with tarantulas. If this is true, the speculations about the "incredible thing that will happen" in this particular scene could be that Muto is attacking a defenseless Godzilla, absorbing his energy or trying to lay its eggs on it! Maybe, the military are there to help Godzilla. I don't know, there are too many possibilities with this simple image. This is more exiting every day.
Just click the picture symbol in the reply dialgo box. It will pop up a screen ask for the source of the image. Be sure that it is uploaded somewhere online. It cannot be uploaded directly from your computer or a flashdrive.
GUATEGOJIRA Yeah dude this movie is wayyy too mysterious, I honestly cant predict anything anymore cuz this movie can go thousands of ways that we never thought that would happen
if you guys look at the screenshot it looks like godzilla is biting something and you can see an arm in front of him and a red glow by what he is biting
During the scene in which the muto can be seen on the monitor the creature looks incredibly beefy compared to the toy, a lot stronger in a sense!
Here is a clear shot of Godzilla fighting the M.U.T.O :)

i'm really seeing the scenes blend together now. With the initial trailers we just had disparate images, but with all the new tv spots and this extended trailer, i now understand better the flow of events... without actually knowing anything about how the plot unfolds. Hows that for marketing?
@ guategojira
I don't think those are seperate scenes from what was shown in the first trailer. I think they just added the MUTO into that scene so they didn't give away his look before now.
Man, Bryan Cranston's performance in this is great. Especially the interrogation scene where he states he has a right to know. Almost brought me to tears. Can't wait til the movie is out.
@GGOJIRA45
If you're watching them on Youtube, if you click on the 'gear' symbol to open the setting (the same menu you set the HD level), there is an option to adjust the speed.
Playing it at .25x or .5x makes it MUCH easier to pause at the right moment for screenshots.
Or you could always just spam the snot out of the Windows/Alt/Ctrl (or whatever your computer has it binded to + the 'Print Screen' Button and just succeed via the power of random luck :-)
Also, I think the animators screwed up the one scene for Godzilla coming out of the smoke. There's is no possible way for that tail to belong to Godzilla (I know it is his tail) unless he is super fast to draw it into the smoke then walk back a few steps and then walk through the smoke again.
Dang I am so exicted for this movie AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!! It just looks so amazing! I love how we have sen so much from the movie yet know so little about it!! Talk about marketing.
@THISMEINTEIL I was thinking the same thing. The only explanation I can think of is if it is not his tail or its just a matter of perspective, but even then is doesn't make much sense...
@THISMEINTEIL
You might be overthinking it. I viewed that scene as if Godzilla was standing in place for the most part, and just turning around. Not necessarily walking away, turning around, and then walking back into view.
But you are right, animators do oftentimes sacrifice realism or consistency with size and distance in order to make shots look 'cool'. So it could be that as well.
