Can someone describe how it was because I didn't saw it.

He said he bought it at The Egyptian Theatre when they premiered Final Wars in 2005. I don't remember seeing it there, but I was 12 at the time and my brain was freaking out as it is.

I know what Daikaiju_Danielle is getting at. Although King Kong (2005) is an acceptable movie, it's woefully self-indulgent on Jackson's part. It includes some intriguing creature ideas that only distinguishes it from the original in design. Deleted scenes from the original 1933 film were re-imagined and included in the 2005 film, not because they were important, but because Jackson is such a fan of the original film that he simply wanted to see these scenes included. They don't do much except add to an already long catalog of action, set pieces. They weren't needed.

And for all the pandering to the original material, the few changes Jackson makes to the story and characters are superfluous. Jack Black probably does some of his best work here, but only at the expense of injecting some Jack-Black-isms into the character of Carl Denham. They worked for a time, but didn't really add up to anything. The wisdom behind the line, "T'was beauty killed the beast..." doesn't seem as sincere or believable. Perhaps it would've been different had Jackson taken the risk of having Denham hauled off in a police car as he said it. That would've been interesting and more in-line with this version of Denham.

I'm also not sure how I feel about these latter inturpretations of Ann Darrow actually having feelings for King Kong... Both Jackson's version and the 1976 remake depict Kong's love interest with a resounding sympathy for him. It's interesting and different to be sure... but after 1976 I'm surprised Jackson went that route. I've always found that part of the tragedy behind Kong's death is how Ann (or her immitators) aren't sympathetic toward him, but he dies for her anyway. It's not a dealbreaker, but considering how much Jackson's film kisses the perverbial ass of the original I never thought it fit.

It's not a "bad" movie, but it has a list of issues that keep me from going back to it-- or feeling fully engaged. I'll watch the movie in pieces, but I don't think I'll ever revisit it in one sitting again...

^^^^ Yeah I totally agree, making Godzilla considered the prey would make him sound more weak so im happy that it got scrapped.

When you have saw that a tiger or a lion is the prey of other animal????

Tigers and lions can be killed by other predators like dholes and hyenas (only if they attack in great numbers, by the way), but only in VERY RARE cases. Normaly, they scare this second level predators/scavengers and even kill and eat them. That is why lions and tigers the are the "kings" and the top predators in they areas (even over bears!).

Godzilla is like these top predators (or would be, if he were real). Mutos will be just like the secondary predator, predating on all the other animals and maybe, just maybe, if they were in great number, could attack a godzilla. However, that would be a very rare event and several mutos will be killed in the intent. So, from an evolutionary point of view, these attacks would not have any sence. That is why, I think, Garet eliminated this thing of "godzilla as a prey" as is simple stupid.

Hmm preds and xenos with Godzilla seems pretty off, but crazy and a little awesome if you think about it, id have it cross over with a Gamera reboot

@junkerde, really, a fighter style godzilla game was scraped! wow. if they do a fighter style g-game, at least have a couple people episodes, I mean like "the power plant": "rush to save your wife before she dies." now that I would play. and then u have a episode where u fight the military. (if that happens.)

If there is ever another godzilla game, include 2014 or I WILL DIE!

A female Godzilla fan?!?!?! INSTANT CRUSH <3 Anyways, about Godzilla's sentience, he'd probably have as much intelligence as a Velociraptor or something of that nature. Gareth said the movie was going to be realistic, and since the back of the Jakks Pacific Godzilla clearly stated that his origins were from before the dinosaurs "...when the surface of the earth was ten-times more radioactive than today," organsims then didnt have brain-to-body ratios on our scale, but were capable of independent thought nevertheless.

Thank you, Chris! :) You've given us Godzilla fans a place where we can discuss, CIVILLY, our love for Godzilla and our excitement for the new movie.  Its unfortunate that some people have nothing better to do with their lives than to pick fights and spread negativity.  Here's hoping this site will be a little more positive from now on!  Godzilla is nothing to get into fights over, its something to be enjoyed.  There will always be immature people out there, but Godzilla fans are generally some of the nicest people you'll ever meet.  This site is a great place for those fans to gather, and that makes it something very special. :)

Alrighty, so, this is irrelevant to the topic of the video (which is cool btw!), but about 54 seconds in, it looks like a guy's wearing a shirt that lists the kaiju from Final Wars. Later, I saw that it looked like the front of this shirt says "Final Wars" on it, which makes sense, hah. Has anyone ever seen this shirt online before? Searching "Godzilla final wars shirt" in Google isn't resulting in anything matching the shirt from the video. 

Sorry for this irrelevant post; while watching the video, I noticed that dude's shirt, and I really freakin' want it!
