My next step is to sculpt over all the seams and ugly bolts. I also want to bend the tail in a U shape towards the big guy so I can actually put him on a self with a nice stand for him. I want to make a really nice Godzilla statue out of this figure. More details and pics coming soon.

Knowing how much Cartoon Network has fallen off the rails of decent mannered cartoons, I am wary to believe they would show these, as they don't fill the "criteria" for which the show has become known for in today's society.
If they do, I'm going to be feel slightly insulted, but also relieved that someone with moderate common sense still works there.

Also, it is actually more good than insulting that Cartoon Network might be showing these, as it'll expose more kids to the Big G and maybe even boost sales of the new movie!
ugh, i hate "movie entity vs. movie entity" slogs. It basically amounts to who's imaginary friend is better. The problem with fiction is there is no universal set of rules, so one side can just keep making their guy more powerful than the other. It's especially boring when the answer is painfully obvious (as evidenced by the comments here).
This kind of "debate" is no different than "which weapon is better". Movie monster/characters/vehicles, like real world weapons, are designed to work within the context they were created in. Gypsy Danger was created in a universe where we were attacked by giant monsters and created solution in the form of giant mechs. Pacific Rim is about how we felt small and powerless but ultimately were able to overcome the threat. Godzilla is not meant to be overcome by man. He is meant to be an unstopable power in which mankind can only cower in fear.
This is like a previous thread pitting Godzilla against King Kong. Again, both were designed to work in their original context but when you mash the two together outside of said context, it just doesn't work. Godzilla is meant to be indestructable whereas Kong was, despite his size and strength, a fully mortal animal. Godzilla is a force of nature, representing the horrors and destruction of atomic weapons as well as judgement on man. Kong was a tragic figure, symbolizing mankind's unfailing ability to demonize and destroy what he doesn't understand. He also represents problems with trying to take a wild animal out of the wild. They both work beautifully in their own worlds; trying to pit them against each other as is (instead of changing them like in Godzilla vs. King Kong) is pointless because it means taking two completely different beings from two completely different worlds out of their comfort zones.
Trying to pit the two together is like trying to pit a knight against a samurai. Both worked very well in their own context, but take them out of that context and they'll be at a disadvantage against one another. The Knight would have a speed disadvantage because he was used to fighting other slower opponants. the Samurai would have an armor disadvantage because his weapons were designed to attack lightly armored opponants, not enemies wearing full plate armor.
TL;DR: Stuf like is pointless, especially when the differences are so staggeringly different as to the render the "debate" over before it even began. Whay can't we enjoy each in their own world? Why do we have to pit them against each other (at least without rewriting their natures)? I have learned that this kind of thing often leads to the denigration of the other, despite the fact that they were incredible in their original context. I just find this all pointless and irellevant, in the end answering absolutely nothing.

It would be a good fight, but I imagine it would end with Godzilla recreating Kano's finishing move from Mortal Kombat and ripping Gypsy's heart out. Now Godzilla vs. Gypsy from MST3K. That's a contest.

Well, Bryan Singer did return after having left before those iffy X-Men movies were released, so, I guess I can see why it's so anticipated for that reason.
But, the X-Men only have 6 movies, and Godzilla's got 28, so... Why isn't Godzilla in the lead already? He's had much more exposure.
The news that Andy Serkis was only a consultant is a bit depressing. He's such an incredible Mo-cap actor. I do hope the actor (if there was one) is just as good as he is.
As for Godzilla's roar, Danzilla93 said pretty much all the information we currently have.

Okay, this topic has cropped up too much guys. Godzilla's running time has not been confirmed. The original movie is 98 minutes and google has mixed the two films up. We have a topic about it all right here:

That's actually an awesome bit of exposure.
I've been seeing Godzilla more and more lately. I was at a bar and Godzilla was being heavily advertised on the Major League Baseball network. They even had a play recall named the, "Monster Grand Slam" with the Godzilla logo next to it. By the time the next commercial cropped up the one minute Godzilla TV spot was front and center.
When IMAX theaters were asked about the run time for Godzilla, they answered 2 hours and 15 minutes.
That first one is incredible. I've been waiting for someone to do something like that.
There's no need for something that's both warm-blooded and cold-blooded because warm-blooded animals are able to regulate their own temperature. This is why we don't get continuously hotter no matter what we're doing until we explode. Warm-blooded animals are able to regulate heat by sweating, panting, finding shade, or going into water. It is believed that some ancient warm-bloods, such as a the stegosaurus, were able to dissipate heat through their dorsal plates.

The issues between Toho and Media Blasters has been resolved. However, the upcoming Godzilla vs. Megalon Bluray will be barebones and not include any special features. Media Blasters has yet to contact Amazon.com about their upcoming release. It will be released this July.

Gypsy is only 50m, compared to all the Godzillas , big G has been the same size to 3 times larger (marvel one). Even at the same height Godzilla surived high doses of radiation so it would be ridiculous if a nuclear robot would be able to beat him.
The first one reminds all of us from the 1954 movie.

Huh... that was bizarre! Not a lot of Godzilla stuff in there, aside from the clip show at the beginning. The set Aaron Johnson was on was pretty cool though!

He really is. I anxiously await the day when his abilities as an actor, as well as a mo-cap performer, are FINALLY recognized by those goobers at the Academy Awards and the like. He deserves recognition.
That said, his hands on work may not apear in this film. He was consulted, but its still unclear as to whether or not we will see Serkis performing as Godzilla in the film. I have no idea how voice acting came into the conversation. :P Serkis provided the vocal performances for most of his creations, but all of them are humaniod to some extent. The roar has been stated to have been created by analyzing the original roar sound files given to Legendary by Toho, and recreating it with digital technology for Dolby surround sound systems. Just how they did it I don't know, but chances are no human voice was involved. It sounds way too artificial.
