MemberMothra LarvaeApr-15-2014 10:11 AMKnowing how much Cartoon Network has fallen off the rails of decent mannered cartoons, I am wary to believe they would show these, as they don't fill the "criteria" for which the show has become known for in today's society.
If they do, I'm going to be feel slightly insulted, but also relieved that someone with moderate common sense still works there.
EDIT-
Can anyone confirm this outside Wikipedia?
Also, it is actually more good than insulting that Cartoon Network might be showing these, as it'll expose more kids to the Big G and maybe even boost sales of the new movie!

MemberMothra LarvaeApr-15-2014 11:56 AMI just googled Cartoon Network showing old Godzilla movies, and there is no information on it outside of Wikipedia. I really do not think CN would show Godzilla movies. I don't trust this.
FOR SCIENCE OF COURSE!

MemberMothra LarvaeApr-15-2014 11:58 AMthey may not be the best but they are aimed at kids, also the showa movies are more well known, more than the heisei and millenium series by far, too bad this is only the US cartoon network

MemberTitanosaurusApr-15-2014 1:23 PMWell, Cartoon Network is really stepping it up with these classics. They'll probably be promoting Godzilla 2014 as well. This is going to be good.

MemberMothra LarvaeApr-15-2014 1:46 PMIf theyare showing Godzilla movies then they will need to choose all child friendly ones, like son if Godzilla and *shudders* Godzilla's revenge

AdminGodzillaApr-15-2014 2:53 PMI can't find any confirmation on this either. The fact that there are no sources cited on Wikipedia for it is a big red flag.
If true, though, it's a great selection of movies for younger audiences. With the exception of Godzilla vs. Hedorah it's practically a Jun Fukuda marathon and he's been underrated by the fanbase for far too long.

MemberMothra LarvaeApr-16-2014 2:45 AMlikelyhood will be that they air '98 and the cartoon series. Booo.
