the worm kind of does look like anime ghidorah
I've been referring to the anime Ghidorah as "celestial tapeworms" ever since that movie was released.
On set atomic ray lighting during GMK shoot.

Petition to call noodle Ghidorah, worm Ghidorah instead?
This isn’t the first time an animal was named after a kaiju beleive it or not, recently a parasitic wasp was named Microgaster godzilla
I'm definitely picking up the Ghidorah figure. Hopefully they make figures of the MUTOs, other Titans, and Skull Island creatures.
Cant wait to pick these up at Walmart.
The first time I've seen Godzilla when I was little.
I see they have a new Shin Godzilla mold. I guess NECA finally spoke up about their mold being used. The Godzilla Terrestris looks gorgeous from that angle. Can't believe I said that about any Playmates figure...
The first image of the "Battle Roar Mechagodzilla" wasn't from the London Toy Fair, I included it to show off the new box art for the MonsterVerse line in more detail.
I want to see more Godzilla
Definitely Burning Godzilla
Burning Godzilla, he has more energy and more powerful attacks.
I might as well do that, if I can find a reliable one...
Always more exhilarated for a live-action series than an animated one.
Live action Monarch series for sure!
If only they made the new Devilman with castlevania's artstyle that would have been cool but NO! We got Crybaby's graphics instead for the new Devilman
so the Twitter official Godzilla countdown clock was about this show then….
You could use a VPN, to access a different country.
Honestly, people need to grow the f--- up. I believe that this will be a good show no matter what. Regardless of the streaming service, it's going to come down to whether the show is good or bad. I think it has promise.
By the way, filming on the show begins in November so we should expect the show to come out in late 2023...
TV+ isn't available here in mainland China, so I guess I'll just rely on torrents...
Shooting the monsters from a human perspective really elevates the scale of these creatures, and the feeling of godlike monsters looming over you is just breathtaking. One of the major problems of Pacific Rim: Uprising was that the camera was too...unrestrained, making the jaegers feel like toys at times. Godzilla vs. Kong was similar in that aspect, but the fluency of action and the weight in movement prevented the "toy" feel.
I agree 100%
Ok never mind, it's actually a 7 day free trial, not month. But still, I feel like people are over reacting.
Also the fact that they immediately decide that they're going to pirate it is pretty sad...
To be honest Apple TV+ sucks.
but people like people who complain so they get a lot of attention on twitter sooo….
Of course the complaints are from Twitter... people on that site will try to find any reason to complain.
Plus, from what I've heard Apple TV+ is only around $5.00 a month and if you don't want pay for a full subscription you can start a month long free trial...
I'm more excited for the live-action show, and Godzilla is cooler than the monke soooo--

Here's some screenshots of some of the monsters from Castlevania, the creatures in the Skull Island series will probably be animated in a similar style.

The studio animating the Skull Island series is Powerhouse Animation, which is known for Castlevania and Blood of Zeus, so I assume (and hope) that the animation will look similar to those series.
I just like Godzilla more so…….
But I do wonder how they will handle the animation in the series. Will it be traditionally animated entirely or go the same route as Singular Point. I mean I think singular pig is the best Godzilla media we’ve gotten recently, but I liked it best when Sarunga was hand drawn. (But I did appreciate how the Kaiju looked like the painted background)
And the studio involved has only really done traditional projects, so I’d assume it’s traditional.
I mean 3D can be done well, but in the Kaiju genre it is either amazing, or looks like Ultraman Netflix. (I only made it through one episode, the movement was so weird)
I'm really excited to see what the live action Monarch/Godzilla show will be like, but personally I'm more excited for the Skull Island series. The fact that it will be animated and set on Skull Island gives them less restriction with what they can show, which means it'll probably have more monsters, more action, and they'll be able to get more creative with how they explore Skull Island and the MonsterVerse mythology. Plus it's being created by the studio that did the Castlevania series, which had amazing animation (hopefully the animation for this show is in the same style).
Also, I'm hoping that it ends the horrible track record that Kong has with animation...
