I honestly like most of the plot in Kotm and semi plot in GvK but they feel like middle drafts

I prefer Ford for the Brodys, and Madison for the Russells.  I've said it before, Sam could very well be Madison's age.  And I'd like to see them come together from their shared experiences.  Also, I have solved the human character problem of the MonsterVerse.  It's that they need to get the writers of Pacific Rim instead.  Since that movie has actually endearing characters, like Raleigh, Mako, and Stacker.

Well, I've only seen King Kong Vs. Godzilla (1962).

I'm planning on watching Godzilla '54, and one from every other era.  Recommendations?

I think King Ghidorah is the best Mechagodzilla pilot.

Do you mean Godzilla x MechaGodzilla (not Tokyo SOS) and Godzilla x Megaguirus? Because a common complaint about the synopsis back in 2002 was how similar it was to Megaguirus. No one seemed to care once they actually saw the movie though. Lots of western fans have and continue to take to it.

I'm going with Katsura Mafune. Not exactly a traditional "pilot", but she's easily the most interesting character of those who "control" MechaGodzilla. I like the idea of Akane a lot, and to be fair she serviced a fun movie, but she didn't quite hit the mark for me.

Anyone notice that tokyo sos and gvMegaguirus have similar plots and basically the same main character?

i havent watched the kiriyu saga in a while, so im not sure

ah like a consequence of bad parenting, I neither liked Mark nor Emma; Madison was okay. In all honesty I preferred the Brodys over the Russels.

well for one thing it would have made a darker tone and given more realistic consequences of MarK and Emmas choices. Both pushing Madison away. Two it would have made Emma more interesting and given her way more of a reason to feel bad. 

The whole family thing in kotm very focused on the parents, and it would have set up a more interesting story for GvK if they bith had to come to terms that what they did killed theyre last child. 

Or maybe not even killed would be right either. Madison could have just been seriously hurt or put in a coma and it would have the same effect. Or it could drive her away from both parents.

Its just that in GvK there was not family trouble that much, which should have carried over. Admittedly it was tried but they took way too much focus from the people who could have been really compelling main characters.

Also what the actual heck HinikunaGoji??? But it honestly may have been better if every major character died in KOTM, so we didn't have the Russells at all in GVK.

They are there to provide Godzilla emotional support also the Titan kind of looks like an oversized Varan with a spike tail

It doesn't really seem to fit Methuselah's design that much, it doesn't have the big curved horns/tusks that Methuselah has on his face and Methuselah doesn't have spikes on his tail (plus his tail isn't that long). Interestingly, the spines on this titan's back, head, and elbows look like crystals. So, I think this might be a new titan.

It could be methuselah, because it seems to have mountains on its back.

But if it's a new titan, i cant wait to see it.
