Oh, I thought that these were the reviews. Woops.
I could, but this stuff will become pretty obsolete once actual reviews are written.
(Although there are currently 6 official reviews up.)
F. Glenn and Katsura Mafune are probably my two favorites.
Bonus award goes to Yoshimura from Godzilla vs. The Sea Monster. I love Takarada playing against type.
But really, let's be honest, Invasion of Astro-Monster had an all-star cast. It's pretty much why you watch the movie:
@G.H.(Gman)
"Your mom"

Akane Yashiro(pilot of kiryu).
Ok, update on this topic.
It's more likely that Kong will win.
Hopefully, anyways.
Don't know
Does this warrant a temporary pin? So people can come back and read after they watch the movie?
Hmm... thats a good one. Do the Bilsaludo(post mechagodzilla absorbtion) count?
"Let them fight" is a great film quote. Period.
I've already said mine multiple times.
Madison Russell
and maybe Ishiro Serizawa from the first 2 modern movies

well yeah but which one is your favorite?
I don't know if the Mothra priests and aliens exactly qualify.
The "-jin" suffix usually refers to "person" or "race" in the right context, which is why it's sort of weird calling the Shobijin, kaijin. And because there's no real English equivalent of the word "kaijin" it gets harder. The best English approximations have been "mutant", "supervillain" or just "monster". (Like kaiju.)
It seems aliens usually are provided their own "person" or "race" designation, ala, "X-Seijin" (literally the, "Planet X People" or "The People from Planet X") which has been retroactively dubbed "Xilliens" for international marketing purposes.
The "mutant" designation seems to fit closer to Matango, the H-Man, Showa Frankenstein, The Human Vaper, etc. Even the Titans from the Attack on Titan films have been called this. I don't think that works as well considering they're giant, but the debate comes from the fact they start as normal sized, ala Toho's Frankenstein.
I'm not sure if the MonsterVerse has any kaijin, the closest they have are the ageless Iwi tribe and the always twin Chinese scientist ladies
Oh I forgot to include the Pacific Rim kaiju and Gamera
Yeah, that is scary.
NEVER GIVE ANY SITE PERSONAL INFORMATION. DONT CLICK ON LINKS....... oh I’m freaking out now
@SONIC
CHECK YOUR DEVICE FOR MALWARE!!!!!
I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH DO IT NOW!!!!!!
Wow, I was under the impression that Google got its answers from official/trustworthy sites. Kinda scary to think about how one person can affect it like that.
G theorist,
They do not get it from official sources. The Google search engine algorithm gathers the information from some of the most popular or most clicked on websites. So even if the information is wrong, it's going to bring up an answer from whatever source it can find--Official, unofficial or dead wrong.
This is why Google was claiming the movie was almost three hours long--Some fan added that number to iMDB in December. At the time it was the only answer available about the runtime, even though it was false. And even when it was taken down, the answer was still locked in Google's response to the question.
agreed, be careful of this
Not to mention potential malware....

Ok, the 31st. So why did it ,1. Say that it was internationally released yesterday and 2. To be released in the U.S. tomorrow.
Do they not get this info from official sources?!
Yeah, don't trust Google anymore.
Also, we should wait until at least April 2nd to do spoiler discussions.
First Comment.
After this, and trying to rely on Google for the runtime, I think we've learned to not trust Google.
Yes.
March 31st is US release.
I reported them directly to Warner Bros
You have no idea how mad this makes me
Are you spoiling? I’m reporting directly to Warner bros to avoid this.
for me it releases tomorrow, and on the US it releases on the 31st since they have access to hbo max
Life is hard, but waiting for a Godzilla film to release is....
less hard. We’re you expecting me to say something else?
godzilla is better
Ok wait. After a little bit of digging, I've found that it was internationally released March 24th. So is it coming out on the 25th in the U.S.? if so, why was the initial date the 31st? Early release?
Spoilers, and I have already reported. Click at your own discrection.
I will delete the link later.
