what I liked but everyone hated: zilla, ok, it's not Godzilla I accept that, but why so much un needed hate for the DESIGN!? it was a bad movie! but I don't see anything wrong with zilla. what I hated but everyone liked: come back later, I have nothing to say about that.

well if i recall at the end of final wars one of the main characters said QUOTE: NO ITS NOT OVER ITS A NEW BEGINNING. UNQUOTE so yes this will be the new era of godzilla movies that is to come we have TOHO, LEGENDARY, AND WARNER BROS. to thank on making a godzilla film plus i have my faith in gareth edwards i know he will not let us die hard fans down he didnt with the dark knight and pacific rim was extremely badass so i have really high expectations for this film and the ones that follow if any

I have to agree with the 2 people above me. This will be one of the best Godzilla movies. Gojira is leauges better than it's sucsessors and this film is shaping up to be the best one yet.

Sorry, but this film wiill be the best Godzilla film since 1954. That's right, I said it. Why? Because just about every other G flick after the first one has been a shameless commercialization of the beast. At leas this film bothers to make a compelling human drama rather then making the story secondary to big G himself. I mean for the first time in a Godzilla flick we actually get talented Hollywood actors, not like those foreign exchange idiots whom we see through much of the Heisei era who couldn't even get their own accents right. So as I stand, this new Godzilla film will easily be the best one since 1954.

Godzilla should fight a "Human made monster" Not like Mecha-Godzilla. But like how we would(In movies) Make a virus that turns humans into zombies. Scientist would make something that would evolve and grow too be bigger. Example, NEMESIS from "Project Nemesis".

@Dr. Professor Kaiju Man I could see it this way: If Legendary Pictures is making a Trilogy, then it would be a great idea to kill off Godzilla in the Final 3rd film. You can do it by setting up the Oxygen Destroyer throughout the films and developing Dr. Serizawa (Ken Watanabe?) as a character like in any other movie. In this case, I could see Destroyah being a failed result of Serizawa's Ultimate ''Secret Weapon'', and later emerging after the dawn of the Godzilla 2014 events happened, with Radiation being the treasure for Giant Monsters.

This movie is going to be my most favourite godzilla film regardless of how much it fails, which I dont believe it will, all those old godzilla movies were just child play, now its time for the king to get serious. And come on guys this is modern day and its time to let go of messy weird suits and get into CGI.

Im gonna say Keizer too. He is one, if not the most, powerfull enemy Godzilla have faced. And remember how overpowered the Final Wars Godzilla was? he through kumonga through the air Team Rocket style . And even then he needed help from the humans, very much like the battle against Destoroyah.

Remember the monsters in this movie will be completely new so sorry no deathla, centipede maybe.

As long as they don't do another Mothra, MechaG, or Ghidorah I don't really care what they choose, but there are some monsters godzilla's fought way to many times to make them into another movie.

Either the original or Godzilla vs Destroyah. I have to respect what the original did and how good it really is but I can't ever forget the chill I felt when Godzilla jr was dying and Miki says "this might be godzilla's last fight" as Godzilla fights Destroyah

We know almost nothing about this move so I wouldn't count it as even a competitor for the best till I learn a little more about it. Even knowing more of the story can't really promise that it will be good. Personally when i heard the story behind Final Wars i was convinced it would be be the best godzilla movie ever but after seeing it a few times I can say it's not even in my top 5, so until i see it I'm not going to put insanely high expectations on it

It WILL be the greatest Godzilla movie ever made. Call me an untrue Godzilla fan if you want but if Gareth manages to succeed in everything he promises this movie will make the other Godzilla films look like $2 funded documentaries. Maybe it's my weakness for something with a lot of love and effort put into it combined with a dark and grittier story, but I'm ready for this type of Godzilla film. Godzilla deserves this movie. The TOHO movies were awesome to me as a child but they are kinda silly now. I'm older and ready for a serious take on the big guy.

Keizer without a doubt. He almost KILLED Godzilla in about 2-5 minutes! (cant remember how long)

I have never been more hyped for any movie except jurassic park, Prometheus, Godzilla (1998) and Jurassic Park 4, so yeah, if they fail to deliver with this and/or JP4 i will be sad for the next decade or so because these movies mean A LOT to me. It's my childhood that they're 'messing'with. But at least he doesn't look like the Zilla so that's a plus.

im with you zillahater time is getting closer everyday I just hope that I can rank it as my third-sixth place of Godzilla movies but we will see what it ranks after I watch it about 100 times if it is good which im pretty sure it will be by far zillahater the design alone would send zilla to the depths of space or even to the 9th circle of hell l.o.l

Nope. For some, maybe. But i dont think this movie could top some of my favourites. It has a big chance of getting up there, but the best? Nope. At best i would say fourth-third place. But remember guys, im just as excited as you are, i cant wait for this film.

yeah there has never ever been any sex in any Godzilla film at all but the violence is always there that's just natural and who the hell really wants to see sex in this movie for crying out loud it is a monster movie and it is GODZILLA not anything else just keep to the original routs people running, dying, monsters fighting, military to no effect on any of the monsters, and of course have a little bit of blood and gore but don't over do it

interesting but no, this godzilla needs to be an example of the stupid things humanity has done to this world and also their punishment.

I don't know some rumors have it that there is a centipede type monster and of course the weird bug thing that we have seen drawings of like gojira 2014 just mentioned but rumors also have it that a new pollution type monster called deathla is in this new movie but all will be revealed once the trailer and the movie is released
