What I liked that every1 hated: Um I'm not sure about this I had no real problem with the 1998 movie as a monster movie but wasn't too big on that being a godzilla movie but i think that's somewhat of a general consensus. What I hated that every1 likes: Either Mothra or GMK. I just really don't like the character of mothra and how toho has this thing that she can never lose. GMK I just wasn't a fan of. Godzilla being the souls of dead soldiers was just dumb to me and they used ghidorah and mothra instead of the original monsters they had in mind and just didn't work well with them. It was basically Godzilla is super powerful and his strongest enemies are extremely weak so he just runs through them, then a human drills out his neck and he blows himself up. I could really go on and on about all the things I don't like. What i liked that no1 noticed: this is more to the general populace rather than godzilla fans but the whole heisei era. I think when people think of godzilla they think of the showa era 1, which isn't bad necessarily but it just gives it a more campy look than what there is. Personally the heisei era is my favorite and i can't do enough to praise it overall as the best godzilla era in my opinion. I think if people pictured the heisei era when they thought of godzilla it wouldn't be thought of as so campy.

So you are claiming that Keizer Ghidorah nearly killed Godzilla because he (Godzilla) already fought tons of monsters beforehand and was very exhausted? There is zero proof of that. Godzilla singlehandedly took out 9(?) monsters before Monster X without effort. Keizer Ghidorah is A LOT more powerful than King Ghidorah and MechaGodzilla. Destoroyah was pretty powerful, but he was still taken down by the military, you have to remember that

No I chose King ghidorah for all the reasons I gave and said it could go either way so I chose the 1 i liked more. I don't see keizer ghidorah as godzilla's strongest opponent as godzilla fought him after fighting monster X, gigan, all the other monsters in the movie, and used what I assume is a huge amount of power to shoot down the meteor that carried monster x. Was he strong? sure, but there were definitely stronger opponents throughout the godzilla series. Destroyah, MechaG, and king ghidorah come to mind above him for various reasons

In fact, fuck it, I would much rather see Jet Jaguar in a new Godzilla film then bloody Mothra. Who's with me? Honestly, I'm fine with Mothra having her own series of films but keep her well away from any new Godzilla film if all thats going to happen is a repeat of the past.

I think if they plan to use some classic monsters they should start with ones interesting but not used often,,,and of course they should be fitting in the movie and not some kinda random character just added.

As a child the stories never really mattered to me. Lol i used ot only watch them for the last 20 minutes or so of godzilla showing up and fighting as i got older i noticed the story more though so I could appreciate the movies more

Ghidorah the three headed monster is my favorite. It brought a lot of monsters together(this was before DAM so that's kind of a big deal to have 4 together).

Gojira 2014 not be be mean or anything but you really shouldn't try to critique someone's spelling as yours is pretty bad. Also I think he was saying he couldn't be wrong because he didn't have an opinion on the movie, which is true. You may need to step back and reread all his posts and yours as from what i've seen he's right for the most part and he's not really turning your words around or lying you're just not getting your point across very well, or how you intend to. Anywayyy straying away from that subject I'd really love for this movie to be an amazing godzilla movie. Personally I don't know all that much about it so I can't say for sure but i do have my hopes up that it will exceed all expectations. Bryan Cranston hopefully has a very big part in it as he's an amazing actor and I'm sure he'll bring a lot to the movie. If it's the best or not I'll have to wait and see but I do expect it to be in my top favorites if everything I've heard is true.

I know there was a rumor that the art for the monsters was leaked and im sure most of you saw them as 1 looked like a mutated ant eater, and the other looked like a bulky rhinoceros. I'm sure those aren't going to the enemies, and i'm very happy as i wasn't a fan of them when i saw them.

I say COMPLETE DESTRUCTION from a realistic point of view and a G fan point of view! The monsters should be scary, but the enemy monsters Godzilla will face should be scarier. It should also be sad to show what its like for the humans to experience this kind of thing. And yeah, as long as he even has his atomic breath ill be fine.

Realistically, Godzilla would cause apocalyptic sized destruction. Gareth is going for a realistic Godzilla movie, so that's my idea of the scale of destruction in this movie.

The destruction shouldnt be too limited. I think Gareth himself also said "[i]When its time for monster being monster, its gonna be epic[/i]". I think thats how i want it. The size should be limited though, not over 200 meters, im saying between 120-150 for Godzilla, and either a bit bigger or a bit smaller depending on what kind of enemy he faces. Godzilla, while fighting the army should be sary, but i think the enemy monster needs to be even more scary. And for the atomic breath? Personally, as long as its there, id be happy.

I honestly just hope they don't take it too seriously I mean at base Godzilla is a Giant fire breathing indestructible nuclear monster who fights other nuclear or space monsters, and there's only a certain point of seriousness you can take it to before it just goes overboard and seems dumb. It's ok to have a serious tone but hopefully they keep in mind all the movies that have been in this series and realize that it's ok if not everything is explained or pans out as it would in real life.

Hard to say during the Showa era it always took more than 1 person to take down king ghidorah, and in the heisei movie he was in he was winning until the controls that were being used on his where destroyed. I'll say king ghidorah since I really don't like the 4 legged keizer ghidorah's design, but it could go either way

Hey about godzilla's atomic breath G fans, what ive always wanted( they did this in GMK) godzilla to start out sucking in air with trees and other crap getting pulled in the atomic force too and then blows a powerful,menacing atomic breath out of his mouth.
