Hopes and Dreams . . . . .

I am so-o-o completely psyched that Godzilla is getting a reboot and it appears its getting it the right way. A reboot to me means that there will be alot of the plot from the origional which is way cool. I can only hope that there will be an added element to have Godzilla not only rampage against mankind but add another kaiju as well. Its great that there will be "Depth" in main character developement - remember Raymond Burr? But i can only hope that they do remember that the biggest star of any Godzilla Movie is the big guy himself. Godzilla is ALWAYS the biggest star and the actors main or otherwise are supporting cast. That is how i see it in my view anyway. AND THANK GOD that we wont have to see an oversized pregnant iguanna with Farris Bueler in it, seriously THANK GOD for that!!! I really hope that it does well enough for them to go through with a sequel themed after "Destroy All Monsters" That would be freaking amazing with a little more screen time for Anguirus, Varan, Manda, Baragon, Oodaku and how about a new one or two - mayby Bagan?!?! Reimagined old foes like Ghedorah, Gigan, Orga and Space Godzilla would be ok, cool and acceptable as well but lets take it up another level with some new or never before seen kaiju on screen like Bagan or something else. I also hope that if they do have mass kaiju that they remember that Anguirus is Godzilla's closest ally and LOYAL friend. They are kind of like Batman and Robin is a sense lol. The last thought - although it may never happen is how cool and interesting would it be if at some point Godzilla has a confrontation with another famous Kaiju of great significance like maybe Gamera - and to let none be fooled who the REAL "King of the Monsters" is. I like Gamera but Godzilla is the absolute KING point blank and period!!! I'm 44 yrs old and have been a loyal Godzilla fan(atic) for 38 of those years so the new "G" film done the right way (with no over grown pregnant iguanna) is just crazy awesome to hear about! I even have put a countdown timer on my desktop till it hits! In ending i just want to say kudos to all involved in bringing this project to life! K
