I dont think he's gonna make it to the ground..:(..at the next frame godzilla seems to move his hand and tilt his head to the point where the halo jumper is at..
I asked Chris why and he said they were parody videos. He mentions it in this thread; GODZILLA 2014 PARODY M.U.T.O VIDEOS HIT THE WEB
We'll be guessing this until something solid is said by Gareth or the others making the movie. That or wait until the Art of Destruction book is out in March or April about this movie.
That poor guy must've had to change his pants when he got to the ground!
This is true, not everyone will be pleased. Hell, they could of done an exact replica of the 54 Godzilla and some people would still complain. As long as they stay true to the charater(Which they are) there is no better than that. And adding a few improvements and aspects of realism here and there doesn't hurt either. I am happy with the design, and seeing him on the big screen will truly be incredible. It is hard to capture the live creature in a movie with toys, posters, and art.
Did you all forget that Godzilla is a Godzillasaurus?
I am pretty good with Orga, Varan, and Moguera. :)
I think the design looks great
your right i love the gills not so much for the feet if they make them a little bit better i be happy but i love the design so yea
Godzilla's Revenge and Son of Godzilla.
i agree godzilla has to be huge like every tornado hurricane tsunami and earthquake wrapped into one giant scaley force of destuction
I don't think you over estimated at all my friend. During the halo jump, he looks to be about a block or 2 away from the 555 building. And in a rather crouched state. As the view is at the top of the building, his head is straight away...and i truely believe that in order to come accross as the "force of nature" that he is, he has to be big enough to topple any structure on the planet. Plain and simple. People have to fear him. 300 feet has been done. but Godzilla is the wrath of GOD. And that's what Gareth Edwards wants to convey.
It's a piece of shit because Godzilla gets killed by the military. The military can't do shit to Godzilla.
Heisei, because it had some of the most interesting films in the franchise
Godzilla vs Destroyah was definitly my favorite movie. Destroyah was a total badass and the fight between the two monsters was epic.
Heisie MechaGodzilla was the MechaG that kicked Godzilla's ass the most. If Rodan weren't around, MechaGodzilla would of killed Godzilla.
Monster X should definitly be in a future game. He should also be able to change into Keiser Ghidorah, kinda like how Mothra changes to adult form.
Godzilla is going to be 200 meters tall. So there. Prove me wrong.
@CoolGodzilla1234 I never said the other Kaiju would appear in THIS ONE, but it's possible they could appear in a sequel. Also, they could just be a bunch of brand new Kaiju, too, with just slight tiny references to Toho's Kaiju like possibly the name "PROJECT GHIDORAH" appearing on a computer screen every now and then.
Cool ideas. I think maybe this time Spacegodzilla will probably be called something else if he even did appear. Anyways, my idea probably wont be true since I'm just going to base this off my theory about MUTO being an organization led by a giant cyborg spider monster from space. (Yeah, it sounds far-fetched but whatever)
So if my theory is true, I think maybe that Monarch, the evil creature that leads MUTO, will come back and use a sample of Godzilla's DNA to mutate his evil alien offsprings into fiant super lizards, thus making an army of evil Spacegodzillas that, in the end, all merge into one gigantic one to fight the real Godzilla.
Actually, guys, now that I think about, plus how you said we should wait until the first movie comes out, I'm probably just going to make this story a stand-alone Godzilla idea so I don't have to be careful not to mess up any continuity.
ya a king ghidorah movie would be sick. i think they could do it fantastic if they didnt screw around and do it right.

Im glad to share with you my "monster size comparison" with very accurate data from movie webpages and wiki
thank you so much svanya, i hope you enjoyed the videos:):) I enjoyed making them.
btw why hasnt somebody covered the hacked muto videos??

What a lovely post! Thank you so much Kasm69101! I will be featuring this since it is so well written and the links were all posted correctly. :)
In my opinion they should use the very classic ones like king ghidora because he is number foe of godzilla and no just a random monster that appeared in some movies. Dont get me wrong, every godzilla foe is awesome but not a reason to remake them all. Im ok with king ghidora, and maybe mothra but thats it.
kaiju origins as well as the kaiju themselves can never be realistic. however, you can make the human reaction realistic. what would the world do if kaiju really appeared? that is where realism will come in with the new movie. thincking that the monsters themselves and/or their origins will be realistic is really quite UNREALISTIC
I saw it in an IMAX theater. It wasn't the true IMAX theater, but it was bigger than a regular theater. When Godzilla roared it shook my whole body, it was incredible, and you can clearly see Muto's head on a big screen.
@GODZILLAFREAK For a reptile that can swim and live underwater, you tell me he holding his breath using his mouth the whole time? He needs gills to properly breath. And the feet are based off bear and polar bear feet which helps the animal stand up right like a human. This helps keep the original suit design intact while not making it too dinosaurian. Besides, its OFFICIAL and you get what you get, so no changes are being made to this design.
I went to a Muvico here in Florida and saw the 2D version but nothing, instead we got trailers for 300 RoE, Jupiter Ascending, 47 Ronin, The Amazing Spiderman 2, Divergent, Vampire Academy, and The Nut Job. I couldnt believe they replaced Godzilla with Vampire Academy and the Nut Job, I heard only the 3D verison had the trailer and me and my friends couldnt go 3D because we didnt have enough money. In the end we didnt care because the hobbit and especially Benedict Cumberbatch as Smaug made it up for us. Still I feel slightly cheated we didnt get a trailer for this showing, was one of the reasons we went to see the hobbit.
@Des9876 whats the big deal with 48fps? Isnt it good movie looks more realistic, I saw it in 2D and it looked fine, very fluid movement especially during the smaug scenes.
Godzilla is supposed to have a certain height between 120-180 ft not 779 that's too huge. That will make other monsters look puny like biollante.
I am really dissoppoited by the stubby tiny retarted feet. And the gills...im mean, WTF!!!! Gills! Really Gareth? I LOVE the rest of the design, but i really hate the gills and the feet....they should fix those feet. and gills
I think it will be PG-13.
For example: the Dark Knight was a very violent film, like when the Joker stabbed a man in the eye with a pencil. The movie could've shown the man on the floor wriggling in pain, but it left that shot to the audiences.
I think the film will have scenes like that; when you know how a person died, but the movie won't show it due to the graphic scenes it will show.
I watched it in theaters, and saw so much more detail. After the trailer, I literally exploded in applause! This is going to be a great addition to the Godzilla franchise. :)
