Well I've wanted to see a Godzilla movie where he fights another of his own species, this is the closest thing we got

well in the case of zilla we can just say hes adopted lol. anyway this is really cool

I'm surprised no one has said jet jaguar. All of his attacks do good damage and of course the ability to double in size and become an unstoppable Titan.

And there is NOTHING wrong with including Zilla!  Like it or not, he's part of the character's history.  It makes for an interesting contrast, seeing him with all the other true designs! :)

Yeah, I figured that was the one he was talking about.  Very dissapointing.  Plus, the figures are almost always revealed before their boxes.  I have a feeling that we may see a prototype at Toyfair, but anything before that is probably gonna be another poorly photoshopped fake.  Even after the show, we need to be wary.  I dont know about you guys, but I'm getting sick and tired of all this fake stuff people keep putting out there.  Whether its obveously fake or a serious attempt at a hoax, its getting infuriating.  Lets hope the next thing we see is official, and not the product of lame trolls who have nothing better to do with their lives than to mess with true Godzilla fans.

yeah the suit actor didn't move much, i would've liked some a fist to fist brawl and i would've liked one simple origin theory, the biollante one is the best one i think and the whole black hole and white hole is so stupid.

The way I see it, as pointed out in this article, the nuclear radiation has actually caused a drastic nuclear-improvised evolution of Godzilla's body into a larger and biologically impossible form created over several million years and under very specific circumstances.

Take his overall body structure. Theoretically, it shouldn't even be able to stay intact without becoming a mush pile, but yet it does. The explanation for this lies in a process from the article that I like to call "nuclear fossilization". Basically, this process kills the original animal from radiaiton poisoning, but the body is then preserved by the same radiation (most likely in liquid form). The cells retain their normal structure, but basically go through a sort of fossilization where stronger and more dense elements replace the original ones that compose the base of the underlying genetic structure.

It is this process, as well as the energy from the nuclear radiation pool, that rejuvenates the cells in the once lifeless body, causing the creature to suddenly come back to life, with new cell structures and functions from the nuclear fossilization. They still act like normal, but on the inside, they've become biological anomalies. Over millions of years, they can grow incredible sizes and shapes. Due to their cells being composed of much stronger molecules than before, which creates denser and more supportive structures than previously possible, the creature can attain almost limitless sizes, as well as grow hides and interior structures resistant to both conventional and exotic weaponry.

The organs are also nuclear-evolved, such as the popular nuclear heart, which pumps nuclear energy gathered from simple elements commonly found in the body in abundance throughout the new cell systems, which accept it due to their upgrading, thus meaning Godzilla can go without conventional food, water, or even air. This does come with needing to stay cool through hibernation. As well, since these cells are tougher and formed from a process that literally brought back the creature from the dead, the same process could be going on at a smaller scale, explaining the regenerative properties.

All of these combined can also produce powerful exotic abilities with physical indications of such, like the atomic breath, and the interior structures are built to accomodate it.

That's my two cents anyways for this discussion.

They see those movies as that because they don't have a clear understanding of the context of those movies, when they were released and why they were made that way. You do realize the 1960s films had some of the best Japanese actors in the country, right? Granted, not so much the case in the later films, but if seriousness was key to Godzilla's success in the last 60 years then we wouldn't have 28 Godzilla movies. The lack of seriousness throughout the late 60s and 70s, and even in the 90s, was what helped keep the series afloat.

i agree with dragonlord to a certain degree, toho doesn't really market it's movies to a international audience, they mostly care about it's domestic audience while at the same time 'know' that there is a international interest in the godzilla franchise.

So none of you guys actually know the confirmation that the centipede monster wont be in there, unless u have a link to the confirmation, but as of now I actually believe that centipede monster will be in that movie.

Because who would scrap that idea of trashing the centipede monster out of the movie???  It looks sooo badass I wouldnt put that monster out of the movie

Nothing for me, people just complain about the halo jump and why theyre doing it, thats all I know of people complaining, but I have nothing against the movie so far

yeah i agree about how well those movies you listed were (note that those top 6 movies you listed had the best humans)

I think I should also say that this list is less of a reflection of my favorite movies and more of how well made I think they are-- otherwise it'd be a very different list.

I also want to say I don't really hate any of these movies, just prefere ones over others. (Although Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla comes real close.)

NO, no they don't, godzilla fans like fan fics like destoryah vs king ghidorah, i don't have to make a story becuase it all ready sounds good.
