soooo, do we know this is legit? Ebay has always seemed sketch to me. I have a hard time trusting anything posted on it. Besides I thought it was only 6" tall and 12" long. Is this a different one?
There is no proof one way or the other. Nobody knows, and anyone who says otherwise is crazy... like a dunk bigfoot wearing a beer hat. It's all speculation, but that's what fans do, that's kind of what makes them fans.
I'm not preording anything until I see it.
Please everybody be respectful on here. Saying one series is better than another is of course OPINION. I do have to say though that we can't use the numbers don't lie as a debate to the film quality. By that debate Justin Bieber is the greatest musician in the world and Twilight the greatest film series if money intake is what you meant by numbers don't lie. Not, picking a fight, just saying.
I'm sorry if my opinions and the opinions of others is causing some anger, it shouldn't. I write on these forums because it intrigues me to talk about my favorite hobby with others, not to stir up a frenzy.
they said it was proof of concept. to show what they could do. just because they used the small bit of from the teaser doesnt mean anything
Five bucks to the first person who does dramatic readings of these.
No proof, but there are hints.
For instance, someone did get a peak at the toys that will be showing at toyfair, and they only mentioned insect like mutos and no mention of a giant worm centipede creature.
Thats all I'm going on. Honestly, I want it to be in the movie.
Hmm, Im actually kinda glad you brough this up. The thing is, no one has PROOF. Everyone ASSUMES it won't be in the movie because the 2012 comic con was a concept footage before any reall production..seems reasonable..HOWEVER the trailer that was released a couple of months go HAS the SAME yet enhanced clips FROM THE 2012 COMIC CON TRAILER. The hole in the building, and even the scene with the destroyed train surrounded by bodies. So basically, no one knows.
he made it his version so is the fig good or not plz tell me before i put my money to waste
The biggest I know of would be Beryudora from Ultraman, who, although he has no specified height, is made up of the bodies of over 300 different monsters. So, yeah, a bit more than 1000 feet.
I'm on the fence with this one. But, my issues with the figure mostly stem from my issues from the Godzilla 2000 design. I'm still probably going to get it just to keep my collection going.
Maybe he was just freaked out by the guy staring at him so burned his ass to a crisp.
Mothra was and still is classic...
Damn 24" he's a big boy.
OK im probably way behind but can anyone explain what this is. Is this a movie that has 2 minutes of godzilla in it or a godzilla movie?
he's Mutated people deal with it
Muto will be the hype next week.
Does he come with butter. Jk lol, I like how it looks good job.
thanks Gojira2K
Gman look just say agree or disagree its super easy and iam maybe telling a 40 year old man thats it super easy to type agrre or disagree so put that and yes there was a ending sentence i put so HESEI IS BETTER
will Bigbadben the chibi figs say Damaged Godzilla so maybe so he will take that type of damage
$60 man can you give me a link
look you guys heisei is better. numbers DONT LIE
I'm not saying Godzilla doesn't remember Shindo. I just don't think his memory holds as much resentment and thought as you claim it does. Again, the ambiguity is what sells the scene. People can make all sorts of theories about Godzilla's thought-process here as they want, but I doubt it went too far beyond primal instinct after the memory faded.
Anguious, Mothra, Baragon, and Rodan.
thanks man i still aprreciate that
99 days/3 months man time does fly by so quickly, again i still share my condolences to you, your family and your brother may he rest is ever lasting peace.
true to that man still though my friend 99 days and counting down and no i did not take that at all as being rude man no worries... you showed me your condolences to me and my family when i lost my brother not to long ago so we're good buddy
i agree with godzillafan1995 on this the memory he had of that horrible tragedy that nearly killed him as godzillasaurus still was in his mind and he also realized that shindo was there went it happened all them years ago and he got upset about it like godzilla was pretty much blaming shindo for that happening to him
Each series had it's stinkers, it of course comes down to personal preference but for me the showa series had of course the most films but only a small amount that I generally disliked. Raids again was so so, King Kong for me was pretty bad, Gigan I loved as a kid but watching now it's pretty awful, Megalon was iffy, kinda so bad it's good and Revenge is pretty much a compilation film. Everything else is good. Most of the heisei series fell flat to me, it really did come off as lazy film making in my eyes. Millenium, I thought the Kiryu movies were dull but even enjoyed the much hated final wars . It's just my opinion but my tally of good over bad films.
SHOWA 10 of 15
HEISEI 3 of 7
MILLENIUM 4 of 6
sorry if i was a bit rude but people or fans have been wanting a full look of the mutos for some reason, also i read an article or someone on this forum (with source) said that the 2012 teaser monster is not in the movie. and i'm sure you got a perfect picture of what godzilla looks like with leaked images of promos, toys and the dec trailer.
yeah great artwork but a giant lobster was bad enough already
@godzillafan1995
what i meant by the mutos revealed was a little bit more of a some what detail look at them to see what they might look like in this film. Also are you sure about the centipede looking monster not being in this film? if not oh well still though i am watching this movie no matter what it takes to see it. Also as a fan like you i would much rather see the full design even if its just to show the fans than still see him surrounded by smoke and stuff. Im just curious to see exactly what he will look like from head to tail. but i still agree about the non fans that you stated about him being covered in smoke keeps the aduience in shock that way :)
really godzilla knew/recogized shindo because 1. he was going to go skip the building but then stopped and 2. he could've just destroyed the building straight away.
it may sound cheesy but it works thanks to akira ifukube's score, godzilla does remeber shindo, look at 1:55 in the clip and you see close his eyes like he is letting out a tear (that might also sound cheesy), it also shows godzilla's intelligence, i'd rather have a giant monster who rembers the pain he had and the people he saved before his monstrous tansformation than a monster who feels nothing and just destorys because he's angry.
what a minute the heisei series sucked?.... no i have to disagree i loved some of these films my favorite of them of course was the return of godzilla/85 but my second favorite was vs. destroyah then vs. mechagodzilla 2 i dont think these movies sucked at all because when my nephew comes up its either something out of the heisei series that we watch or even godzilla final wars or course he is only 6 years old but he loves these type of films sure they could of had the more ishoro honda style to them but it is what it is and i feel like some of these were better than some of the millenium series we got other than godzilla 2000, and GMK but i did not care for the others but koichi kawakita can not compare to kenji suzuki in the arts of special effects now can he?
well what do you mean mutos revealed, because i pretty sure if they did then only about 5-10% will be shown same and impretty sure godzilla is still going to be hidden, but that is better, thats what non godzilla fans liked about the trailer, (not being harsh) i swear you guys won't this trailer to contain spoilers. the mutos are going to be this films biggest secret, they won't show a detailed look of the creatures and the multi legged monster is not going to be in this movie, that was just for the 2012 cc teaser.
^We don't exactly know that for certain. Like NPinkham19 said, there's a lot of ambiguity to it. Perhaps Godzilla does remember him, but to what extent?
I think assuming what Godzilla wanted or was thinking is treading a little too far. It's kind of goofy to think Godzilla holds that kind of resentment. What matters is that there was some rooted connection between the monster and the man, for an instance, and in the end it didn't matter. Godzilla's a monster. He's going to stomp whatever he comes across.
I do agree that Shindo may have been asking for death though. I suppose he felt dishonored in some way for leaving the Godzillasaurus behind.
