@Linkzilla : taking pride in his work is okay, but dont take your pride to high..it will makes you stop developing skills and being too satisfied with what you've done.. He has a pretty good skill, but in my eyes, his drawings doesnt get the "awesome" label, not yet.. your level of awesomeness and mine is different,im an artist,im very critical about arts or drawings alike..in my opinion,he stil can do way better thann this, give him time, and take away his arrogance and over-pride mind, and maybe someday he even can surpass matt frank..
Dont get me wrong okay? i like his drawings, but i dont quite like his attitude, but i believe he changed now,and ibelieve we will see some arts 10x better than this.. if you browse my deviant art page, you will see that what i make now is way better than what i made 3 years ago..
@Something real : You're a girl? You're a girl that loves godzilla? Damn u are a needle in a haystack..
If you look very closely at the screenshots of the muto at the airport you can see that it's sprouts wings, not the fully developed wings, but wings that are developing. If I'm not mistaken people who saw the clip a sdcc 2013 said that the wings where not fully grown for developed, they said it was like a "membrane". Just thought I'd put that out there
i really love this trailer =)
THIS.......IS.........AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!IK THAT MUTO LOOKS SMALL BUT HE GETS BIGGER LATER IN THE MOVIE!DONT FORGET THT!!!NICE JOB MR.EDWARD!I CAN WAIT TILL THIS MOVIE COMES OUT!
From the start, I already had the thought that Godzilla wasn't dealing with multiple MUTOs but dealing with one single enemy that had the ability to evolve into different forms. Till now, as details of the movie become clearer, I still stick to my theory that what Godzilla is facing is a Muto that has been created from an ancient organism by scientists that went out of control, which was stated in a thread I created quite a while ago. http://www.godzilla-movies.com/community/forums/topic/32187 To add on, in the interview with Gareth Edwards on the design of the monster, he revealed that it was designed in such a way that when you look it at, you would know it was evolved from the same organism.
And I am sure, apart from the 8-legged and winged form, Godzilla will be facing off with the final form of the Muto that has not been revealed. For those who argue that they only see two toy Mutos to back up their thoughts, what I can say is Legendary and Toho wouldn't be so dumb to release all the toys available for order from the movie to spoil the plot when they so much want to keep a secret. I am sure the two mutos revealed are just the icing on the cake.
I would suppose that's where the 8-legged Femuto has made rest at.
Maybe the Hokmuto is coming to get the Femuto and it gets stuck in the wires?
Cause this is thriller...
Thriller night!

Wow, I never saw the correlation between the two. Great find.
I forgot to post about it earlier but I'm here to say that I am in possesion of the Godzilla t-shirt I bought.
I hope they do.
@ BigBadBen,
When you find that poster again can you send me the picture of it? If it isn't too much trouble.
Oh, sorry. :-D Was looking for it in the lastest discussions about the trailer and screenshot page, but didn't see it. Figured no one had spotted it, yet.
Ben, I just wanted to know if you are doing my Kaiju or not? I wasn't sure.
I agree that some of the shots of CG don't look the greatest. Of course, that's not saying they look like crap, cause they don't. I'm hoping some of the CG has been upgraded since these released. If not, it won't kill the movie for me.
I know what MUTO stands for, look at my topic on profo. But awesome video/tralier i don't know if it's a tralier or not?
@ Madison
That is definitely another MUTO. Either that or another form of the cureent MUTO. The 8-legged MUTO also appears to have a longer back than the toy suggests. Either that or it is him continuing to mutate.
Sounds like a great back story for a video game, especially an open world third person game where you play as Godzilla. And maybe this new unidentified kaiju could be Bagan, and maybe there's a huge covert plot by aliens to turn the humans on each other so they can then take over.
As for the Alliances, give Zilla and Mechan-kong to America. That's all I can think of for now.
The second and third shots of the winged MUTO show the red banding. It's faint, but it's there.
I feel like there must be at least three MUTO's or all the shots we've seen have been of the winged MUTO. Other than the claw coming down, we haven't seen anything which looks big enough to really be a threat to Godzilla or be the size that the MUTO in the Destruction Pack implies. They've all been fairly small. So if that airport MUTO is the 8-legged Muto (instead of just the winged Muto w/ it's wings tucked in or something) then there has to be a third, larger MUTO doesn't there?
That, and I still don't believe that those spines derailing the railroad tracks are from Godzilla, but who knows. That may be another MUTO there, since none of the Muto's we've seen so far have spines.
So the MUTO is not supposed to have eyes? The toys simply show red band around where the eyes are. These screenshots show no red banding. So either the eyes are too small or they have no eyes (aka alien).
talaghan was a concept monster. this was in 2012 so that means that they were 2 years from final production. they probably didnt think of the mutos until later so scrapped talaghan. now either that or it was to get so much attention to amke people morwe interested when really they had the muto all along.
Researcher of some sort is pretty much a given. Into what then is the next big question. Having to do with the Mutos and Godzilla? Also pretty mcuh a given. But to what extent does this research and his influence extend? That's what we really can't tell. He's important to the plot and clearly well-versed in what has been covered up until now, that much we know. What I personally want to know is if any non-spiritual connections can be made to the original 1954 film. I know this isn't meant to be a sequel or remake, but a reboot, but is it possible Ichiro Serizawa holds some signficance central to some of the characters and/or settings of the original? Could things from the original still exist within this Godzilla universe? Who knows.....
This is getting too exciting for words...
I don't get what's wrong with him taking pride in his work. I mean, it is pretty damn awesome.
people's appreciation doesnt really matter mate..what matter is how much you love to draw and how much time and heart you spend when making it.. lots of people appreciate a higher art quality, but not everyone can make it right? u should draw and keep evolving no matter what or how many people appreciate it.. keep up your work
I don't get why everyone thinks a near impenetrable hide would be more realistic than regenerative powers. I mean, there is no living thing that can withstand artillery fire, and no material that can withstand the temperatures and pressures that particularly large bombs can produce, but a relatively complex animal called a sea squirt has been proven to be able to regenerate its entire body from just a fragment of a blood vessel. In fact, since Godzilla's body produces radiation rather than having to consume an outside energy sources, it's possible that even if Godzilla recieves mortal wounds and "dies," his cells could continue to survive and multiply without the rest of his body functioning. Besides, considering that Godzilla can survive nuclear explosions, they are clearly not going for realism in terms of his abilities in this film.

What shot? There are a crap ton of G roar shots. If it's the one in the news thumbnail of the courage TV spot, I think it looks WAY WAY better than the last shot of the first spot and the one where you see him getting bombarded by missiles in the window shot.
I seem to recall that descriptions of the 2013 Comic Con trailer from people who had also seen the 2012 trailer said that the shot of the monster corpse was shown again, but the 8-legged Muto was there in place of "Talaghan." Because of this, it seems that, if he was ever intended to be in the movie at all, he was replaced by or was an early design for Hokmuto.
