I haven’t heard of any rights being sold to WB or Legendary from Toho.

And based on Legendary partnering w/ Sony I don’t expect them to buy another kaiju for a while

Given that the Sony partnership does not include the Monsterverse, which will continue to be distributed by WB, along with Dune 2, I don't see how that would effect it. That said, I don't see Biollante being in the film.

we saw a skeleton outside Big G's temple in KOTM that was a dead ringer for Angurius so we may yet see a living one whether its in GVK2 or in the Monsterverse tv series who can say
