Netorabo Survey's Top 10 Godzilla Films

This tends to fluctuate every year, but in anticipation of Godzilla vs. Kong hitting Japanese theaters in May, the Netorabo Survey Team conducted a poll, from March 5th to March 18th, asking, "What is your favorite Godzilla movie?"

Here's the results:
1. Shin Godzilla
2. Godzilla (1954)
3. Godzilla vs. Destoroyah
4. Godzilla vs. Biollante
5. Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack
6. Godzilla: Final Wars
7. Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla II
8. Godzilla x MechaGodzilla
9. Mothra vs. Godzilla
10. Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah


I find it interesting Godzilla: Final Wars made the top 10 list for the first time. It bombed in 2004, so that's surprising.

The amount of Heisei films is disheartening, but at least Mothra vs. Godzilla and GMK made the list. Deservedly so.

Anyway, depending on the publication, and people being polled this list changes almost every year. But the original, Shin Godzilla, Mothra vs. Godzilla and GMK seem to be constant in the top 10. And I guess Biollante. The rest seems to be up in the air depending on the people being surveyed.
