Should the MonsterVerse continue after Godzilla Vs Kong?

Cutting to the chase, I think the MonsterVerse should continue because I think of this as the end of the beginning of a massive cinematic franchise.  This franchise has lots of lore to expand on and has established a whole lot of future content, like a rumored MONARCH TV show and the possibility of of Rodan and Mothra movies, as well as sequels to our lead monsters Godzilla and Kong.  I think while it's had a bumpy road, GvK could most likely save this franchise.  It doesn't have to use a linear narrative either.  It could branch off into solo movies and still be connected in some way.  And once the franchise starts reaching the end of it's rope, give it a classic Destroy All Titans event.  This franchise has lots of potential, and it's only just begun.

Godzilla Vs. Kong comes out on March 31st in theaters and on HBO Max.

If it encroaches on Tohos future, then no.

if they can coexist then yes

Toho already proved the two could coexist when they released Shin Godzilla

Ok, but after they can make movies regardless of what WB decides to do with the franchise.

But they would have to renew contracts, but Warner brothers might prevent them again

I'm fine with it continuing as long as A) Toho, or other Japanese studios, gets to do more on their end and B) the Monsterverse starts doing something interesting. Up to this point it hasn't really done much that other Godzilla movies haven't done better already.

Frankly, I think a Godzilla vs. Kong battle is a perfectly sound conclusion and would be fine if it ended there. I'm much more interested in what Toho or other Japanese studios (Polygon, Bones, Orange) have in store in the future since they've been far more experimental as of late.

I think the monarch story is interesting though.  And for the last time GVK is not the way to end the franchise

Monarch is a very interesting story, but it shouldn’t just be Goji and Kong. A varan movie would be cool, or even original kaiju

The Monsterverse I feel moved way too fast to allow anything interesting to build up. They didn't take the time to actually plan or outline the "universe" they wanted and it shows. I was on board when 2014 and Skull Island released because it was the beginning of the universe and a prequel to show you where it began. Then KotM decided to advance way too far and introduce way too much at once, killing off any possible interesting scenarios the Monsterverse could've led to. As cool as Godzilla vs Kong looks, I personally believe it should end off here. I do however, wish things could've progressed differently.

MonsterVerse should continue because it has so much potential. The universe can expand further. They couldn't possibly have created a universe for just 4 movies.
