If people weren't lazy, we wouldn't try to be efficient. If we weren't efficient, we'd never get anything done.

MemberRodanJul-05-2019 4:38 PMI know that of course, I'm from Texas, the place that blows up giant alligators for fireworks XD. KIDDING!!! Just to be clear, nobody I know here does that!!! I actually did meet a guy in California that thought we actually did do something similar to that though XD I just felt like mentioning that in some places it isn't associated with MURICA or THE EVIL TEA TAX!!! XD Of course the Boston Tea Party wasn't the main or only reason America split off from Great Britain, I just felt like making a joke!

MemberGiganJul-05-2019 10:53 PMI'm from Texas as well and we certainly don't blow up alligators, besides Alligators are more of a Louisiana thing anyways. Lets keep 4th of July dealing with Independence Day shall we?

MemberRodanJul-06-2019 3:28 PMLol. Poor Canada Day though... Also, yeah, the blowing up alligators thing was the joke of how some people see Teas. What the guy actually thought was that in some parts of Texas there was a New Year tradition similar to that of the giant ball in New York where people make a big Alligator float and light it on fire when the clock strikes midnight... Not sure where he got that idea from... To be honest, I was more confused than surprised he thought that. Good thing I educated him on the fact that alligators are actually not very common in Texas, depending on the area. To be honest, I'm waiting for the day where I hear something more outlandish about Texas. Though, I have heard some more outlandish things regarding other things... like T-rex being a herbivore... ugh... anyways Happy July 4th 2 days late! Or 363 days early..

MemberGiganJul-06-2019 7:46 PMYeah. Louisiana and Mississippi is basically gator country, also Alligators are bigger in Louisiana and Mississippi than in Florida. Also the weather pretty unpredictable in Louisiana and its very humid.
