Anime Godzilla

MemberTitanosaurusJun-29-2017 5:52 PMWe've all currently been having massive discussions on Godzilla 2014 sequel, Godzilla King of The Monsters. But has there been any new news on Godzilla Monster Planet? That movie is a lot closer to coming out and to be honest I'm really excited for it, possibly a bit more than Godzilla KoTM. The power of cartoons will allow them to represent the monsters, their powers, and the devastation more insanely and detailed than ever before. I mean G is likely gonna be like 1,000 feet in height, and they said every kaiju in the series was gonna be in the trilogy! (If I heard right) What about Ghidorah, before Ghidorah was known as a planet destroying monster because he wiped out civilizations, but if G is 1,000 feet Ghidorah will be like 2,000, he'll be literal planet destroyer!!!
Anyways, talk away, I'd love to hear what others are excited about/for and if anyone has any new news, please share it!

AdminGodzillaJun-29-2017 6:56 PMThere's not really much known beyond the timeline of events leading up to the story, the posters, voice actors and creators.
As far as the tweet Huge-Ben posted goes, it almost seems like the Godzilla design is undergoing some minor tweaks--Or at least the animation for him.

AdminGodzillaJun-29-2017 7:02 PMOh whoa. I can now confirm that the tweet is about Yuji Sakai meeting with the production team to sculpt a 2017 Godzilla figure. Could we see a new S.H. Monsterarts in the future? He also did a really impressive figure for Shin Godzilla upon its release. It could be something like that as well.

MemberTitanosaurusJun-29-2017 7:05 PMYay!!! I hope so... or wait. I recently asked Neca when they would release their next figure and they would unveil it at Comic-Con. Could they be making a figure of the anime Godzilla?!?

The King of the Monsters
MemberBaragonJun-29-2017 7:45 PMI doubt NECA would announce an anime Godzilla figure before S.H. MonsterArts or Bandai Japan has. They very well could be making one, but we probably won't hear about it until after Japanese figures have been announced.

MemberTitanosaurusJun-29-2017 8:14 PMTrue, although I do have my speculation on what the next Neca figure is. I'm feeling that it will be either a 60's 70's or 2000 godzilla. Think about it, they've already done one of the two 50's Godzilla's, one of the two 80's Godzilla's, two of the five 90's Godzilla's, 1 of the 6 Millenium Godzilla's, and then 2014/Shin. I'm really leaning on 60's as the 64 design is one of the most famous. Personally I really hope they do as it's my favorite Godzilla design/Godzilla period without a doubt.

MemberTitanosaurusJul-01-2017 6:31 AMSo, AniGoji as the next design's name, I guess? :P
What I'm curious about is how AniGoji's current and/or revised design will look in action. What other productions has this studio done before?
