All of you guys here or some of you might know this already. But, I've done some research (basically going through Wikipedia) and I've found that Thomas Middleditch was part of Kong: Skull Island. A character named Jerry, although he voiced it. Further research says that this Jerry is the one that calls Brie Larson. So, I dunno. He might play the same character again.

What do you guys think?

You are correct about his "role" in Skull Island--I only recently discovered this myself. Though he would be about 46 years older in Godzilla: King of the Monsters--So unless there's a considerable amount of make-up it would be hard to buy that a 35 year old, spry young actor could pass for something much older.

He's likely playing a new character.
