Godzilla Wars: Aftermath- Chapter 9

     Godzilla and his allies had no idea the next monster would actually be a challenge as it crawled out of the beam. The creature let out a loud bellow at the group, a whale-like bellow Godzilla recognized instantly. He’s heard it on a couple different occasions, and knew it meant trouble. However, he knew its weakness, and was ready to fight.

     The monster lets out another whale-like bellow as it approaches the group. Rodan, Mothra, and Anguirus recognize it too and charge. However, the monster uses its long, flytrap-like mouths on its long arms to bite Anguirus and force him back. However, the creature is distracted as Rodan pecks the back of its head. This gives Anguirus time to rip off one of its long arms. Mothra attacks another arm, biting it as Godzilla approaches.

     As the King of the Monsters begins to charge up his Atomic Breath, a few Meganula begin to attack him as a few Maser jets open fire on him. Wincing in pain, Godzilla grabs one of the insects and crushes it in his hand. Grabbing another one, he feels a sticky substance hit his skin. However, the substance begins to slowly burn through him within seconds. Growling in pain, Godzilla watches as Biollante’s remaining tendrils grab him. The flytrap arms pull him closer as the monster prepares to fire more corrosive sap. However, before Biollante can fire, Mothra begins to bite and scratch her. This gives Rodan enough time to fire a small blast of his Uranium Heat Beam into Biollante’s open mouth.

     Bellowing in pain, Biollante blindly swipes her arms at Mothra and Rodan. Before she can hit one of them, Anguirus slashes her glowing orange womb. However, immediately after, she grabs Anguirus with her spear-like tendrils. Using these and her remaining flytrap-like arms, she’s able to lift up Anguirus and toss him away. She charges towards Anguirus and pins him down with her spear-like arms. Wincing in pain as the creature bites her arms, she fires her corrosive sap.

     After she fires her sap, something powerful shocks her from behind. A few seconds after, Battra flies in front of her, firing a short blast of his Prism Beams. As the two creatures begin to fight, Godzilla charges Biollante and tail-whips her womb-like structure.

     Bellowing in severe pain, Biollante blindly flails her arms at the King of the Monsters as Battra flies off to help Anguirus. Godzilla kicks Biollante, making her stumble back a bit. He’s able to land a few more slashes before Biollante’s spear-like tendrils grab him. As she begins to fire her corrosive sap, Godzilla grabs her enormous jaws and pries them open at an almost 180 degree angle. Charging his Atomic Breath, he fires a long, powerful blast.

     The force tosses him back a bit, but Godzilla watches as Biollante’s glowing structure turns a bright blue, seconds before imploding. Soon, the entire creature is engulfed in the blue explosion, along with a couple Maser jets. Roaring in victory, Godzilla begins to get up as he hears another familiar roar…
