megumi odaka in godzilla 2016?

I've largely just heard fan conjecture about her return. Where did you hear the rumors?

At most I can see her in it as a cameo, but I doubt she'll be a major player and I certainly don't think she'll play Miki again.

BIOLLANTE1989 - What an interesting bit of speculation! Hmm...I would certainly like to see Ms. (Mrs.?) Odaka return in a cameo; however, I believe she should remain on the sidelines to allow new talent forward. :)

The moment I saw the words Miki Saegusa, I realized who that was. I would like to see her again. It would blow my mind if they had her play Miki again. But that is just me.

I could see her in some sort of cameo, a kind of tip-of-the-hat to fans of the series, especially the Heisei films. But as Miki, then no. For that would mean that this Godzilla is part of the Heisei universe. And I just don't see Anno and Higuchi binding themselves to the events of those films. 

I also think if she appears will be a cameo, but if she plays a role, it won´t be Miki Seagusa because she was a character for Heisei series.

But personally... I prefer to see Aki Hano, or even better, Kaori Aizawa <3 !!!

Ugh. Her character dropped in a lot of the heisei films. I mean, most of the time she only had to look into the camera and just say Godzilla. She did pick up in Godzilla vs. Destroyah. 

I would like to see her get a cameo, but wouldn't expect it, I can see Anno trying to distance his movie as much as possible from others with his supposed worst nightmare description.
