It was recently announced that Monty Oum, a member of Rooster Teeth, creator of the internet show RWBY, and all around odd but wonderful guy, has passed away as of yesterday.

This broke my heart, because he was the reason I was inspired to write creatively, to participate more in communities such as this.
It was because of Monty Oum's love of creating that I aspired to do the same in my own capacity. Let me just say that he will be missed forever, and I will always remember him. I don't expect the rest of you to do the same, especially if you personally were not aware of him until now, but I'd appreciate it if you would be so kind as to show your condolences.
Thank you. I hope we can all follow in his example, and express our love of creating to keep his spirit strong and alive within us.
