Godzilla: The Monster War- Chapter 19

     Godzilla slowly arises from the rubble-covered ground. He looks around and sees what remains of the Hybrid scattered around the ground. A rustling sound gets Godzilla’s attention. A creature is slowly rising from the ground! Godzilla slowly approaches it, ready to attack. A spiked carapace is all Godzilla sees before it leaps up closer to him!

     Angirius grunts happily at Godzilla before looking around. He growls at the Hybrid’s remains, and Godzilla looks around. Angirius stares at Godzilla before rising up onto his hind legs and looking around with Godzilla. The creatures are looking for their ally, Blue Fire Rodan. The creatures look for a couple minutes before giving up. The beasts begin to walk towards the ocean before a quiet, weak screeching gets their attention.

     A beak comes out of the ground, followed by part of a head. Rodan rises out of the rubble! The pterosaur lost his powers in his sacrifice and is still very weak and exhausted. Godzilla and Angirius run up to their ally and help him up. The two help Rodan to the ocean before Godzilla steps in. Rodan flies onto a couple of Godzilla’s tallest dorsal spines before landing. He sits on Godzilla’s back as Angirius wades in. The monsters have a sudden urge to go to an island. The creatures seem to know where it is, like birds and whales know where to migrate. The trio starts swimming away from Tokyo and to this unfamiliar island…

     The monsters slowly swim to the new island. They use all of their energy swimming to it, and after a couple hours they make it. On the island, the three are completely surprised by what they see…
