MemberMothra LarvaeDec-19-2014 3:13 PMOffically there are three books in the Nemisis Series. However there are four books that make up the Kajiu genre by Jeremy Robinson.
Book 0: Island 731
Book 1: Project Nemisis
Book 2: Project Maigo
Book 3: Project 731
The series pays homage to the kaiju genre. If you enjoy old school giant monster destruction with modern era technology, then this is the series for you.
HOWEVER, most books by Jermey Robinson contain mature themes such as language, sexuality (None in the Kaiju series at this point. Haven't got to read Project 731 yet so I don't know if it there are scenes like that. Most likely there isn't but, but I cannot be sure for certain...), violence, graphic imagery. This is especially true in the kaiju books, there are some very bloody scenes. Viewer descerection is highly advised.
*WARNING! THIS SERIES IS FOR ADULT (18+) READERS! IF YOU'RE PARENTS ARE OKAY WITH YOU READING THESE TYPES OF BOOKS WITH GRAPHIC CONTENT IN IT, DISREGRAD THIS WARNING. OTHERWISE IT IS BEST TO WAIT UNTIL YOU AREC OLD ENOUGH TO UNDERSTAND CERTAIN ASPECTS OF THE PLOTLINES PRESENTED IN EACH BOOK. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!*

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-19-2014 8:42 PMso are you saying it is very graphic ? and to be clear are there any you know what scenes actully in detail ?

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-19-2014 11:56 PMThere are many scenes that its impossible to describe them all. (Again haven't read Project 731 yet so I don't know what to expect.) Scenes that depict people (and other kaiju from Project Maigo onwards...) being eaten, torn apart, impregnated (Island 731 and Project 731 similar to the Alien Franchise but without the Facehuggers), blood and guts everywhere, total destruction. Basically, it makes Godzilla look tame in comparison. Mostly really bloody scenes, and adult language thrown in once in while. Its graphic enough to make your guts squirm if you think about too much. If you have a weak stomach for blood, guts, gore, etc... You might want to pass on this series.
Jermemy Robinson books are deffinetly meant to be read by older readers. It kinda of stinks because there aren't many Kaiju books out there for all age groups. Not sure how old you are, but you could have a realtive read it and see if they think you are ready for it. I will say this, DO NOT START with Island 731! That is a book that should be read after the Nemisis Arc. Though it is a prolouge to Nemisis, it deals with some rather touchy subjects such as Human experimentation with animals. (Island of Dr. Moreau on steroids.) Fits because it talks about Unit 731, a Japanese Army unit that did horric experimets in WW2 to prisoners of war.

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-20-2014 11:00 AMI loved Nemesis, but I suppose it has some pretty adult themes, and the language is pretty bad. There are lots and lots of f-bombs. And there is gore galore. Even whales are ripped to shreds, and it's described in great detail. But if you can get it, it's worth a read. Jeremy Robinson writes some of the best action there is. It's a thrill a minute.
