The Official “Share Your Latest Purchases” Thread!

I’ll start off… my most recent purchases include the Bandai Creations Godzilla 2014 vinyl figure, the BC GMK King Ghidorah (even though I already have the superior Japanese one!), NECA’s Pacific Rim Deluxe Kaiju “Clean” Knifehead, Axehead, and the Knifehead Scaler, the Bandai EGG series Gigan, the Trendmasters Baby Godzilla “Baby X” from GINO, all four Starman films (man, THOSE are insane and highly recommended), Terror Beneath the Sea (a super obscure little man-in-monster-suit Japanese film starring Sonny Chiba and an army of Fishmen!), both Zeiran films (1990’s man-in-suit Japanese films), and I have the Japanese Deluxe Edition of Godzilla (2014) (with the SHMA G14 Poster Color Version) and Y-MSF Gaira on pre-order!

Whew!

Oh, and I'm also awaiting my Kickstarter rewards for backing this summer's Akira Ifukube concert at G-FEST, Kyle Yount's Hail to the King Godzilla documentary, and the upcoming film Kaiju Gaiden! :)

Well recently I discovered just how useful Amazon is for collecting Godzilla-related figures at reasonable prices. Off the top of my head, my most recent purchases include a Region 0 DVD of The Return of Godzilla, the NECA Godzilla 1994, posters for The Return of Godzilla, Godzilla vs. Biollante, Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah, Godzilla vs. Mothra, Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla 2, Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla, and GMK, and a decal of the outline of Godzilla 2000 for my laptop. I plan to get the Movie Monster Series Male M.U.T.O. at some point as well as the NECA Godzilla 1984. Speaking of the NECA '84, it supposedly started shipping two days ago, but Amazon still has only one available for the ridiculous price of $75.

And I also got a Japanese import Zilla 1998 figure for a decent price.

My latest purchase was the NECA 24" Godzilla 2014.

Also, I know I'm getting some SHMA figures this Christmas. :)

well everything i have recently been getting is getting hid and wrapped for christmas(but whats funny is i already know what everything godzilla-related im getting is) so here we go the latest(soon/to/be/added) to my collection is the 'Movie monster series MUTO 6',a (1974) Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla t-shirt,the Bandai creation 12' final wars Godzilla, bandai(1964) mothra larva, a godzilla 2014 pint glass and water bottle, and im hoping for another shirt of godzilla 2014.....so those are going to be the latest stuff on christmas:)

^Nice haul, dude!  Merry Christmas indeed!  I also know a few Godzilla things I am getting for Christmas... this year at G-FEST, we stopped at the local store Monster Island Toys, and my awesome mom got me a few things to save for Christmas, including some mini posters, the Microman Showa Gamera, NECA's Scunner, and the Diamond Select Toys Godzilla 1989 full figure bank!

^Good question. :/ NECA figures almost always pop up sold by secondary sellers LONG before Amazon gets them in for a resonable price.  Not even the newest Jaegers, which were shipped out almost a week ago, are available through Amazon yet.  Just keep checking and it should turn up in a few days!

My newest purchase is the Bandai pink tag Mecha-King Ghidorah. Haven't received it yet since I paid yesterday, but I can't wait to have it be part of my collection. Suprisingly, it was originally for 39 bucks (with shipping) and only 1 apart from me bid on it. Kinda odd. 

^Sweet buy!  I love that figure! :D  Its discouraging seeing how much that thing goes for now... I got it for like $20 off of eBay five or so years ago. :/

Also, while I'm here, I'll post a few pictures of my pre-order goodies!

The Japanese G14 Deluxe Edition, due out February 25th (my birthday!), and limited to 8000 pieces!  (This bad boy sold out in 2 days!)

And the Y-MSF Gaira, due to be released December 20th, and limited to 100 pieces!

Well, Amazon finally got some more of the NECA Godzilla 1984 figures in for a lower price, but they're still like $10 more expensive than they should be. Hopefully the price should go down soon.

Not cheap. :/ The figure, combined with the 5 disk set, came to something like $120 or $130 (I don't remember the exact JPY to USD conversion number).  But either way, not cheap... but totally worth it. ;)

Thank GOD its finally popping up for cheaper.  In a few more days, it should be around $18.99 or $24.99.  I can't wait!

Oh, and while I'm here... I just won a Bandai 2004 Monster X off of eBay!!!!  I've been looking for that guy for a LONG time!  He should be here by December 3rd!

How much were you able to get him for? Listings for figures like him on Amazon reach hundreds of dollars.

^Please do!  Thats where I've gotten most of my figures over the last 8 years; the good news is, if something is too expensive, or you loose a bid, someone else will ALWAYS sell another one someday for a better price!  Its all about patience (and restraint, if you're me...) and waiting for a good deal, but if you stick with it, you'll find some GREAT stuff!

Apparently, some have some seriously goober-tastic underbites. :/ Not all of them do, but a few have so far, and I'm not sure if its fixable.  I might wait to pick one up in person at my local Toys R Us.

This is just a little one, but I picked up Godzilla: Rulers of Earth #18 yesterday!  I haven't read it yet, but its Rulers of Earth, so it can't NOT be awesome. XD

My DVD of the Zeiram movies, the Godzilla Egg Gigan, the Baby Godzilla 1998 "Baby X" figure, and my Bandai 8" Monster X arived yesterday and today!!!! :D I love Monster X in particular... he's so detailed!  My Hyper Gyaos should be here Monday!

After weeks of my local Toys R Us not getting in ANY of the newest releases from NECA and Diamond Select Toys, I typed "Toys R Us" into my Garmen and went off on adventure!  I found a store maybe 30 minutes form my house, walked in, and BAM!  The NECA Pacific Rim Tacit Ronin, Godzilla 1984, and the DST 12in. Mechagodzilla bank!!!!  YAHOOOOOO!!!!!!!! :D 

i just bought a book called 'Collecting Japanese Movie Monsters' and the Neca Godzilla 1985 Figure WHOOOOOHOOOOO:)

@Danzilla93 Thanks for the info. Also, that Gyaos that you got, I was actually planning to buy it, but I unfortunately forgot about it. Still glad you got it. Some new figures I got are as followed: Bandai 8 inch GMK Godzilla, Y-MSF Orange Flying Hedorah with Godzilla and small Hedorah figure and finally....the best one........X-plus Godzilla 1954!

Oh, and I just ordered the Hong Kong Brawl Gipsy Danger (AKA Gipsy 2.0) off of Amazon!  I cannot wait to get my hands on that thing!  Just S.H.MonsterArts Kiryu Heavy Arms version and POSSIBLY NECA's 18" Cherno Alpha left and I'm done buying stuff this year for myself... just a few Christmas presents left to pick up. :)
