Godzilla: The Monster War- Chapter 5

     Varan leaps up and glides towards Godzilla, firing blue fireballs. A couple his the King of the Monsters, and he roars in slight plain and surprise. Rodan flies in and starts pecking the gliding reptile. As he pushes Varan to the ground, Rodan rips the creature’s light blue skin flaps with his talons. Angirius immediately rushes in and pounces on the reptile. However, Varan roars, and something comes out of the sky.

     The cyborg that damaged Super X and destroyed the factory where the mechas were created appears. All of the monsters recognize it: the creature is the upgraded Stealth Gigan. The creature fires a couple of darts where its grappling hooks would be, and the monsters duck. Stealth Gigan disappears, but soon swoops in. It stabs Angirius in his shell with its scythe, and swipes his other at Mothra. The insect bites onto it, and takes a piece off. Stealth Gigan is hit by a blast of Godzilla’s Atomic Breath, and screeches in pain. He flies off into the air just as Godzilla fires a smaller blast. However, Varan also disappeared.

     Godzilla is hit from behind by the creature. He roars in surprise, and swipes at Varan. His claws rake Varan’s underside, and the creature’s blood splatters onto the ground as it roars in pain. Rodan and Mothra fly in and start attacking the creature. However, Varan bites Rodan’s neck. The pterosaur screeches in pain, and Mothra bites onto the creature’s arm, causing Varan to let go. However, Varan whips Mothra with his tail, and she flies back a bit. Just as the creature prepares another attack, something attacks it.

     The monsters watch as a black creature with tricolored wings tackles Varan in midair. Varan roars in excruciating pain as the creature violently attacks him. Both creatures crash into Rodan and the unknown creature lets go. Varan’s corpse and Rodan fall into the ocean. Neither kaiju surface, but eventually Rodan does, but he has started to go through a shocking transformation...
