MemberBaragonOct-19-2014 5:04 PMAn anime could be pretty intense and awesome if done right. And Attack on Titan is so huge right now, a similar show would be pretty popular in Japan and probably here too. Quite frankly , anime is so monolithic and omnipresent in Japan today, that it could be the only medium the Japanese Godzilla could thrive in within the country's current culture.
Personally, I'm hoping for (and I'm getting more convinved they might actually do it) an aminated series here in America similar to the upcoming Pacific Rim TV series. Given the parallels between how Legendary has handled both properties (both got prequel graphic novels, the NECA toy licence, etc.), I wouldn't be surprised if 2016 gave us our third American produced Godzilla TV series!
