Monsters I believe were incorporated into the MUTOs

I think there was partial orga inspiration for the head of the female muto and the arrangement of the female muto's legs. I also think King Kong was partial inspiration for female muto's overall body as she walks like a gorilla and at one point in the movie climbs on to a building as if it were a tree and leaps off of it like an ape would do.

Actually, Gareth already stated what monsters they took inspiration from.

They looked at the T-rex from Jurassic Park, the Xenomorph from Alien, the bugs from Starship Troopers, King Kong, and Bruce from Jaws when creating the MUTO.

I actually see a lot of Orga in them, mostly because of the hunch back they have:

Especially the Momma. :)

Why dose everyone think the M.U.T.O look like gigan. They have nothing in comen. (not including the eyes though that is debatible)

The layout of the M.U.T.O.'s faces remind me of Gigan, and so do their hook hands. Aside from that, the male reminds me of Gyaos and the female reminds me of Orga.

What about the graboids or ***blasters from the tremors movies?
