Favorite Godzilla movie.

Well, I've only seen the 2014 film, so I'd say that. :T

What does that stand for?

@ tyrant. godzilla mothra and king ghidoah. Also known as giant monsters all out attack. My favorite of the millennium series 2nd to that final wars.     

The recent movie is one of my top favorites.  

Showa: Gojira, Mothra vs Godzilla, Ghidorah and DAM.   

Heisei: Biollante, king Ghidorah, and Destroyah. I like all hesei films ex spacegodzilla.  

As far as eras go the showa series is my fav.

I will do my top 5 out of each era

Showa: Godzilla 1954, Mothra vs. Godzilla 1964, Invasion of astro monster 1965, Destroy all monsters 1968, terror of mechagodzilla 1975

Heisei: The return of godzilla 1984, godzilla vs destroyah 1995, godzilla vs king ghidorah 1991, godzilla vs biollante 1989, godzilla vs mechagodzilla 2 1993

Millenium: Godzilla 2000, GMK 2001, Godzilla tokyo s.o.s. 2003, godzilla against mechagodzilla 2002, tied between megaguirus and final wars.

G14 is in 15 place of favs for me.

Wow, so many movies I didn't even know about.

As long as they nail the portrait(sorry) of godzilla and narrative of the story im happy :)  

30 films all together but many of us including myself don't include tristar's godzilla 1998 disaster.

I'd say 2014, haven't really seen any others

I'm baffled by some of the people who haven't seen the other films.

Top 3 from the 26 films ive seen out of the 30 that exist are:

1.Godzilla 1954 Originall japanese version

2.Mothra vs Godzilla 1964 (Not Godzilla vs Mothra 1992)

3.GMK(Godzilla mothra and King ghidorah gaiant Monsters all out atack)

Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla 2. It's not a particularly great movie, and a lot of people dislike it, but for some reason it's always been my favorite.

I'm with you Triple B. The Tri-Star debacle was/is not Godzilla.

If I'm picking just one, it's the first and best - Gojira '54. So many fun movies though.

That's thing, some kids out here won't watch it, why? Oh it's a black and white film and i don't like those types of movies. *SIGH*

We all know the original japanese 54 masterpiece can not be dethroned or even duplicated again.

Right movie, right time, right place.

But since it exsists, i urge these kids to watch it, otherwise they are stuck with raymond burr.

Godzilla vs King Ghidorah 1. (I rate this on top because it was my first godzilla movie)

Gojira 1954 2. (This is truely the best but for sentimental purposes its second!)

Godzilla 2014 3. (Overall loved every aspect of this epic piece, but what i really loved about the film wss Godzilla's design, its the reason why i defend it so much)
