Can we wait till 2018?

Godzilla 2 isnt coming out in 2018. This is a dumb answer to a question that some dumb website called Kdramastars made up. Its not real!

I hope it is real. A good movie takes time. And this needs to be GREAT!

truthfully im hoping for a 2017 release but anyway yeah i cant wait for this along with jurassic world

There is a 0.0001 chance it will be released it 2016. There is a 0.001 chance it will be released in 2018. There is a 0.999 chance it will be released in 2017. This is because of the views and facts i have stated before in previous posts.

That has to be a joke, you can't seriously think the odds are that skewed

 we have star wars,avengers,pacific rim 2,skull island,jurassic world, and other movies i think we can survive

I also read Gman's and he makes much more solid points your points are basically that you really want it to come out in 2017 and are jumping at the smallest reasons. Even I've pointed out why you're most likely wrong about it

There is no way that guardians of the galaxy 2. A much more compressed and in depth film is coming out in 2017 but Godzilla 2 isnt. Thomas tull said "Gareth will work on this star wars film but it will not detur him away from Godzilla 2" I take that as multitasking and thats what he probably is gonna do!

The difference is James Gunn isn't directing a movie in between the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. Edwards is directing a movie between the Godzillas..

Since it has King Ghidorah, I can wait.

Gman- Yes but Guardians of the galaxy is a much bigger film then Godzilla. There trying to make the infinite gauntlet and they need time to make a story and a whole plot. If thats only taking till 2017 then there is no doubt, Godzilla 2 and Gareth edwards can do it.

If James Gunn can make a film that basically will incooperate the work of 2 films into it and have it out by 2017....:).. We all know Gareth can.

You seem to keep forgetting Gareth is still a new director and you expect him to go right from a big movie like Star Wars, into the Godzilla sequel with no layover.

Ok now more seriously , yes we can i mean i personally would love ... and want Godzilla II to be released in 2018 , they're doing the same thing with Pacific Rim II , they're taking their time ( besides that Guillermo's busy with Crimson Peak) , so yeah i believe 2018 is the perfect time and choice for Godzilla II , Tomhas Tull said it himself that Gareth will comeback to Godzilla after his Star Wars Spin-off , and above that like some one else said up there , we have a lot of movies to survive , besides this year Interstellar and The Hobbit III ( i believe these are more like my personal last movies for the year , but anyway lol) we have : Avengers Age  Of Ultron , Jurassic World , Star Wars , Crimson Peak , Skull Island , Captain America III , Guardians Of The Galaxy II , OF COURSE Pacific Rim II and MUCH MORE! .. so yeah let them take their time , in my opinion 2018 is the best moment. 

I would perfer to have it come out in 2017, since that's when I graduate, and I would want another May release, but I doubt that will happen just because I want it to. We've waited a while for this last Godzilla (10 years), so I don't think 4 more years will hurt.

Honestly, it is feasible for the film to come out in 2017. If it came out any earlier, it would certainly be rushed and incomplete. However, I think that if we wait until 2018, Gareth Edwards and Legendary would have plenty of time to craft a great movie that will deliver on everyone's expectations and surpass the previous film. For this reason, I think it would be best for the film to come out in 2018. However, if we must wait until 2018, it had better be worth the wait.

Well I waited 4 years for this one, I can wait another 4 years, I mean we got PR2, Skull Island, Amazing Spiderman 3, Skull Island, Planet of the Apes 3, Jurassic World, Batman vs Superman, Avengers Age of Ultron, Ant Man, Captain America 3, other marvel movies. At least we got plenty of stuff to keep us busy.

I if could wait for HTTYD 2 after 4 years, I can do it again for Godzilla.

The classic Toho monsters will be worth it alone.

I am definitely gonna suffer if the movie gets released on 2018. All the Marvel movies nor DC movies really interest me, only kaiju movies. I AM A KAIJU ADDICT (aswell as dinosaur addicts). These are the movies I wanna see even if they are not made here on the U.S:

1. Gamera 2015

2. Jurassic World

3. Ultraman 2016

4. Skull Island

5. Pacific Rim 2

Plus, I believe that it will be released on 2018-2019 the latest, NOT 2017. It will be a bit to rushed. Gareth ends production on the Star Wars film late December and they don't even have a script yet. How is it possible that a movie with a director barely done with another movie on late December will make another movie the following year without making it look bad. 

I can wait. Some things in life is worth waiting for.(#LifelessonswithZillahater)

Gfan2000 you just said how the film is gonna get made in 2017. If filming for Star wars ends in december that means gareth has 2 whole years to make the movie! 2 yars is enough time for the movie to be made!

Yeah, I can wait for 2018. Movies like JW and X-Men: Apocalypse coming out in 2015 and 2016, as well as other action movies and such, I'll manage. 

The world is not gonna end before 2018. I can wait!

They need to take all the time needed to make this sequel a GREAT one. The franchise' future depends on it.

It was worth waiting 10 years for a new godzilla movie, and it will be good to wait another 4 years to see the sequel. Trust me guys the longer the time and production is spent on the film the better the results will be. :)

Obviously we all have no choice but to wait so the question is really null and void. Whether you think you can wait or not is one thing, btu the fact is you're going to. Asking others if they "can wait" is rather pointless.
