Godzilla 2014 deleted scenes to be shown in the DVD and Blu Ray release!

MemberMothra LarvaeAugust 03, 20144015 Views6 RepliesOn Tohokingdom, one of the former staff members, Chris55, got an email earlier regarding a potential Godzilla 2014 extended cut like we see in Lord of the Rings. Unfortunately, there is going to be no extended cut (otherwise known as a director's cut) in this year's September release, but possibly for a future one (thread can be seen in the link):
-Quote from Chris: "Ok well, WB emailed and said 'There is no extended cut with this release.'
You can take that many ways. WILL there be an extended cut in the future? Possibly."
That said, there are still plenty of scenes that were seen in trailers or images online such as those featuring Akira Takarada and the unused HALO jump speech by admiral Stenz seen in the December 2013 teaser. Chris stated that these should in fact be shown in featurettes included in the DVD's and Blu Ray's being released this September. Maybe we will see the unused male Muto death where Godzilla tears him apart violently? Or maybe even an extended airport confrontation between the two monsters? We should see in just a month and a half! Stay big G-fans!
