Zilla. It's the most realistic kaiju.
“Banana oil.”- George Takei, Gigantis: The Fire Monster

So true
There are strong men and weak men. The strong ones are here to keep the weak ones up when ever they fail.

Zilla is one of the most unrealistic kiju, Oodako is the most realistic one he is a giant octopus, Collosal squid have been proven to exiist

Are you serious scifi king. Are you freaking serious???? Zilla is by far the absolute most unrealistic Kaiju of all! He is a mutated iguana! he is udder scum oozing out of destoroyahs rancid putrid anus! Zilla is nothing but garbage. Zilla design and looks dont even fit what made him, he was created from radiation but he was an iguana,
Now this is the damned to hell Zilla

Zilla doesnt look anything like a mutated Iguana would look. A mutated Iguana wouldnt stand like a man, It wouldnt have opposible thumbs and full on hands, It wouldnt have jagged dorsal spines look at that harmless creature above! No not Zilla the iguana. Zilla if he was real would be crawling on the ground like a iguana. Zilla is absolute scum absolute udder scum! I soloumnly vow to never say 1 good thing about damn Zilla.
Good grief.

Dude Zilla is very realist. Change his origin, Gareth did it for godzilla. Also Zilla looks a lot more like a dinosaur. So he would be perfect for the whole Godzilla lived in the Dino age. Also I understand you hate Zilla and your gonna say this is my opinion but I remember you calling me crazy for liking Zilla. And we're friends so I don't want to argue. Zilla jr. Is probaly more realist than King Ghidorah. But he gets to be in the new movies. Why can't a more realist monster besides Rodan and mothra be in it.

Flyers like wikizilla said theres a difrence between animalistic and realistic, besides in gareths univerese Godzilla and the other monsters are not dinosaurs, there creatures that lived i belive in the precamrian era

The most realistic kiju are the obsucre ones, Okondoru, The gaiant lizard, The gaiant sea snake, Oodako, shokirus, megangula and megangulon,

Yes but Zilla is a lot like a Dino and Dino's are real animals. All Gareth needsmto do is edit his disign and backstory and he could fit in.

Oh i tougth we where talking of kijus current origins

?

Like someone above mentioned, the giant squid. Thats it. None of the other monsters fit a realistic tone.
Godzilla, Anguirus, Rodan, and every other monster wouldnt fit realisticly. They`re too big, There is no way they could have survived from prehistoric time and the entire mutation idea is beyond BS.
BUT! Who cares? Movies doesnt need too be realistic. Monster movies are all about showing things you couldnt get too see in real life, and sometimes binds them too metaphors. So the realism in the end doesnt matter. The realism comes from our reaction and how we deal with these things.

Zilla hater is rigth, not even the new godzilla is realistic he is animalistic, same goes to zilla

Yes but Gareth is trying to make these more realist. Plus dinosaurs are real animals and Zilla would work as a Dino. Monsters like King Kong, Baragon, anguirus, and Zilla are realist because they could be based off of real animals. Baragon, anguirus, and Zilla would be perfect Dino's. And Kong is a gorilla so he could would work. Plus during the Dino time all animals were bigger. Crocodiles, Sharks, Lizards, other creatures.

But not that big, shodai goji whas only like 3-4 times bigger than the biggest dinosaur and that dosen't make him realistic, Plus sharks wheren't giants during the mezosoic era

And kong is as unrealistic as you can get

The reason I say realist is because how he designed godzilla. With eleplante feet and a lizard like tail. (Sharp at the end) And all his spikes and toes colored the same color.

Also sharks were huge. Megadons

That's not realistic lizard's collors vary between ubderbelly, spikes, frills and so on, and lizards have hook like claws and thin spikes. edwars only made godzilla's personality realistic everithing elese is as unrealistic as the Japanese goji

When he could had made him fat and dumb looking. But he made his faster and stronger. He also edit his claws and spines to make him classic yet realist

Quoting Frankie ''Its not worth to figth'' you and me have very difrent perspectives of realisim, i see the world gray and without hope of existance and you see a rainbow with unicorns and pegasus flyng around

No I know we're all gonna die. The world a horrible place. And I just see Zilla realist. Also unicorns? Really? We're talking about Godzilla not Unicorns!

Edwards tried to make his Godzilla more realistic, such as the spikes and gills, but any Kaiju is unrealistic. The Godzilla franchise has always tried taking unrealistic things and trying to apply a semi-logical answer (at least Heisei series and later).
As for most realistic. I say Hedorah.
Nah, just kidding, I actually think Manda, as a sea-dragon, his weight is supported in the water, and his weight is much more spread out, so he doesn't collapse under his own weight.

Also I was trying to talk to gorilla. Not you cat. But it's fine.

I don't think Ghidorah

A giant 3-headed dragon from space. Very realistic. :P Rodan would fit the "ancient creatures suddenly awakened" thing they have going though.

I am not trying to "join" the argument, but I wanted to post this just to clarify something. Megalodon A.K.A Carcharocles actually existed 1.5 million years ago. That means it lived AFTER the dinosaurs. I do agree that the most realistic are Rodan, Anguirus, basically all the Monster Island kaiju and also Oodako

If I see the word "realist" misued one more time I may lobby for Brett Ratner to direct the sequel just to spite you people.

Well, when I said Zilla was pretty realistic, I thought the size and rather weakness. I totally forgot about Oodako.
“Banana oil.”- George Takei, Gigantis: The Fire Monster

@Gman: Lol!
On the subject, the most "realistic" kaiju in the Godzilla universe would possibly be any of the mechs (except MKG), or perhaps any of the insect kaiju.
"Daddy's home- cake every night,"

re·al·ist [ree-uh-list] 1. a person who tends to view or represent things as they really are. 2. an artist or a writer whose work is characterized by realism. 3. Philosophy . an adherent of realism. adjective 4. of or pertaining to realism or to a person who embodies its principles or practices: the realist approach to social ills; realist painting.
HFTT, you need to use the word realistic, that is the correct word for this topic. If any kaiju are realistic, it's the giant octopus, not Zilla.
FOR SCIENCE OF COURSE!

Well its almost unianimus Ooodako(the gaiant octopus) is the most realistic toho monster

So, I'm gonna throw this debate on its head right now..........
Realistic monsters are.......... mostly not great. Realistic aspects applied to monsters? It can work if done right. As I've brought up countless times in the past regarding the idea of realistic monsters, the very concept is unrealistic in and of itself. But, as modern movies can attest to, if you add certain aspects of realism into the unrealistic concept, such as how the world around it is defined by its presence, some general features about it, etc., it can work wonders to alleviate the general problems of suspension of disbelief.
