Wait... Gareth Edwards stated that if the movie did good in China and Japan, he would go straight to work on the sequel!

@Sci-Fi King 25, looks like he's working on two movies at the same time.

So does this mean we could end up getting it in 2016 after all? Or certainly no later than summer 2017 (which means going directly head-to-head with PR2, should make for an interesting summer then)?
