Where did the King go? Possible set up for a sequel?

We all know that there will indeed be a Godzilla 2014 sequel. Only question is......where will it leave off of? We all know that the ending of the new godzilla movie was amazing. But Ive been asking myself this..... were did the king go? Now yes its possible he could have gone back into the dephs of the earth to feed off of more radiation. But remember Godzilla and many more monsters are starting to realize that the earth's atmosphere is now habitable for them again. So this could lead in to my theory of where godzilla went. I believe that godzilla could have gone to monster island. Where many other monsters could have awakened and united at. Though this is just speculation, so don't get your hopes up. But how awesome would it be to just see many other monsters in the next sequel on a monster island? I don't know about you guys but I think that would be pretty awesome. And that would be the perfect opertunity to intriduce a toho monster. Still take it for a grain of salt and remember to roar your comments in the comment section below.
