Rules:
1.The monster has to have helped Godzilla fight an enemy in at least 2 movie. Even if the monster fought Godzilla in the movie if they helped him fight another enemy then they qualify.
2. It has to be a monster that has been in a movie. No comics or other media.
3. Give reason for pick so that your not acting like that one guy who fakes being a fan. Example of what not to do: " Mothra because she is cool." What to do: "Rodan is the most reliable sidekick because he sacrificed his ownn life to heal Godzilla's second brain and make Godzilla stronger than ever."
Here is my pick. Anguirus. Here's why. Anguirus is probably the most reliable sidekick in the franchise and is bassicly known as Godzilla's sidekick. After his first movie Anguirus always helped the big G weather it is from a giant alien chicken or a giant golden three headed dragon. Even when he wasen't with Godzilla he helped by ripping some of Mechagodzilla 1's fake skin and risked his life. Also in Final Wars, along with Rodan and King Ceasar Godzilla didn't kill any of them after he fought them showing his friendship to them.

MemberTitanosaurusJun-26-2014 3:55 PMI also have to say Anguirus. While he was Godzilla's first enemy, he has been Godzilla's best friend since. He has fought along side Godzilla against some of the toughest monsters to endanger the Earth, such as King Ghidorah. He as proven to be Godzilla's best friend when he was spared by Godzilla when they fought in Final Wars. I would use more examples, but MECHA RODAN said no comics. I believe Anguirus is the best sidekick of all time.

Anguirus the Great and Powerful
MemberMothra LarvaeJun-26-2014 6:18 PMI (obviously) have to say anguirus is best because even though he is kind of the punching bag of the kaiju universe he never would back down from a fight without messing himself up first and also the fact that I consider him (and mothra) to be Godzilla's best friend.
