MemberMothra LarvaeJun-12-2014 3:20 PMSo I don't know if this has been confirmed by anyone else or it's just so obvious now that it goes without saying, but just incase noone has figured this out yet, that early shot of the MUTO biting the train looks like a head with a black eye, but it indeed is not an eye, that's just the start of the black color on his neck or it's a black spot on his upper jaw or somewhere I'm not too sure. and I can't find his real eye either, it's at the near end of his mouth which I think is the left part of the jaw, maybe once the movie comes out on dvd we'll get better views.
Anyways I'm going to end this pointless discussion.

MemberMothra LarvaeJun-13-2014 12:36 AMNo offence, and I don't mean to sound mean but it's pretty obvious that the black "eye" wasn't really the MUTO's eye. I'm pretty sure everyone knows that by now. Thanks for pointing that out anyway. And also, whenever I see the part where it bites down on the train, it looks different to the actual MUTO's jaw. Like, the jaw that bites the train looks more like a Pterodactyl beak instead of the mouth.

There was a BIG following of the theory that it was the MUTO's eye for a good long time on this site, and it persisted well into the movie. It wans't mentioned after the movie came out since they all realized they were wrong, but the sad fact is that a lot of people bought into the false theory that it was in fact an eye here on this site.
