Obviously both Pacific Rim: Year Zero and Godzilla: Awakening were published by Legendary Comics because the movies were produced by the same studios. While I think a Godzilla vs. Pacific Rim movie is too much of a pipe dream, what do you think are the chances Legendary Comics would do a G vs PR graphic novel, especially if there is fan interest? I for one would buy that on day one.

It won't work.

The Pacific Rim lore does not give Godzilla an opening to exist. The first Kaiju in Pacific Rim ever to show their faces came after Godzilla in 2015. Key words being first kaiju.

The Pacific Rim lore, while cool in its own right, does not have room for Godzilla to exist. They'd have to change their lore and backstory, effectively negating the movie they made from ever having taken place in the timeline, in order to make that happen.

That's not something they're going to do.
