DVD extras

The 2013 Comic Con footage is the airport scene, and the 2012 is everywhere online.

I'd love a Director's Cut. Just from the various trailers it's clear they cut a ton of scenes for the theatrical release and I'd like to see the director's original vision. Hopefully it'd be more coherent and I'd like it more.

I second that emotion @DURATOK I would love to see those scenes reincorporated into the movie and I would like to know more about the missing sinkholes as well.@KINGKAIJUGOJIRA You may want to invest in a Bluray player nowadays all of the worthwhile behind the scenes content and extras only come on the bluray. Trust me it's worth the investment. You can get one on amazon for less then 40.00 bucks.

REGGIE1138, I would invest in a Bluray player, but right now I can't. I'm trying to earn enough to get S.H. Monsterarts Alien Big Chap, Mothra and Battra Larva set, Godzilla 2014, Godzilla Adult Jr and both of the new Special Effect Sets as they come out. Eventually I'll get a Bluray player. But now isn't a good time.

And no one think I can't get those figures as they come out. I've already gotten Godzilla 2000, Battra, Wolf Predator, Gigan and Mothra as they came out. Yes, I skipped Alien Warrior, but only in favor of getting Wolf Predator.

Remember when the two mutos and godzilla meet up in san fran? Then they skip to the halo jump and the city is already destroyed and on fire, I want to see the fight scene of them actually messing up the city

I wonder how many extras will be on the DVD... Bluray tends to get more extras than DVD releases these days. It doesn't bother me, but for those who don't have a BD player it kinda sucks.

Well, I forsee something along the same lines as the Pacific Rim release, where there's the DVD, the Blu-ray/DVD, the 3D Blu-ray/Blu-ray/DVD, and the Collector's Edition 3D Blu-ray/Blu-ray/DVD/Ultra Violate/Bonus Blu-ray extras disk out there. *lets fngers rest from all that typing* I am PRAYING that an extensive documentay, King Kong 2005 stye, that lasts 3 and a half hours and goes through EVERY aspect of the film making!  There hasn't been a release like that in years, and it frusterates the heck out of me.  Rise of the Planet of the Apes had like two piddly little featurettes that revealed next to nothing, and that was a groundbreaking film.  Whatever happened to the days of Hellboy when one disk was for the movie and the other was stuffed with extras, including a four hour documentary?!  I want THAT for Godzilla! :)

Aside from that, I'm looking forward to the Director's Cut Thomas Tull recently confirmed!  Just imagine all the awesomeness that could be packed into the film, should Gareth choose to include extra scenes in this fashion, rather than an extensive deleted scenes feature.  I need to see that Akira Takarada cameo, and I hope its in the capacity of a new cut of the film! :D

i hope that there will be tons of extras on the dvd, it is saddening that i don't own a blu-ray player. :(

But oh well at least i have the dvds. :)
