Letting the Whole Family Know They're Awesome

Well I think DEVIANTIST was pretty helpful and contributed a lot to my own endevors. He has shown me some interesting things in my short time here. Finally, I think my second choice should be SOMETHING REAL, she has a most interesting personality quite apart from anyone else here and her support and contributions to this site, I trust, date further back to before I became a member. These two individuals were of the most help, not only to me, but a great many others. 

Raptor-401, he has given great activities to do, he is a great friend to us all, and a close friend of mine. True American Godzilla, he has brought us some great stuff and amazing artwork. It was extremely hard to pick people because there are many great people on Scified. Thanks to you all for what you all have brought to this and other sites.

These are actually hard picks lol. Some posters you like for their content/analysis in their posts, others you like for their ability to find breaking news, others you like for their fan art/fiction, and others you like just for their general humor/demeanor. How do you decide which type of poster to select? I guess it's one those good problems to have on a forum.

Well, some of the people I would have named first, have already been mentioned by others, but there is such a large pool of good posters, I guess that's not really an overly limiting factor. 

I'm going to run with Instinctive Gigan and Daikaiju Danielle. They seem to strike a great balance between being effective mods, while also contributing insightful content and posts like regular members. It's always nice to see mods show up to do more than just lock threads. And in terms of thread locking, I'm impressed by all the mods doing it as objectively and low drama manner as possible. We might take it for granted, but that doesn't actually happen everywhere.

Instinctive Gigan's occasional roleplay AS Gigan in the vein of Godzilla Himself and Smaug The Magnificient is alwasy entertaining as well. 

Anyways, yeah, that's my 2 cents.

I think for me it's gonna have to be SOMETHING REAL and junkerde! They are both awesome and don't get me wrong i love all you guys, I just want to thank these two especially! 

SOMETHING REAL, I don't know where to start, you are always so nice to me and have always  been so respectful of my thoughts! your praise of my art was so uplifting and more than I could of hoped for. You have a fantastic imagination and you are a brilliant writer! 

junkerde, you are brilliant! You don't say much in your posts but those very posts always bring us the freshest and most exciting of news! I never even have to search for anything new, just come on here and junkerde has the link and all the info! Amazing!

Honestly, I can't really note down the people I'm thankful exist on this site. Luckily, no one has noticed me! I have effectively infiltrated the area, with only a few remarks to me here and there! I'm the perfect sleeper agent!

well for me, got to go with chris picard the owner of this site it is because of him we fans have this site to talk to each other about whatever godzilla stuff we can think of. :)

Also got to go with my friend dinozilla0439, he is a very good kid who i can tell was raised by really good parents. :)

SMAUG THE MAGNIFICENT - Even though he hasn't been on here for a dang while, he's always been really respectful to me and always knowing how to settle a discussion without dramatizing everything.

SOMETHING REAL - Lol you're obviously my new favorite, I love how you're very very respectful and never judge on ANYONE'S opinion no matter how weird or nonsense it sounds, to me that's just very heartful and super nice to bring around on this site.  So please, stay on this site to keep it more chill and fun, we're going to need you ;)

Gman2887- obvious reasons

Akagi- I don't think he posts anymore but he always gave people the facts, even if it wasn't what they wanted to hear. His posting kind of reminds me of my own, but his usually has better logic, and maybe a slightly more aggressive style.

I don't like to pick favorites, but I can choose two highlights. :)

Danzilla93: I know him personally, he's a very nice person and always knows how to lighten up the mood! He's pretty much the Godzilla Guru!

Chris Picard: He has helped me out a plenty! He's very nice and keeps this site clean and friendly (and he wipes out trolls with a wisp of his hand!).

I say SOMETHING REAL twice. She's a stand-up gal and really freaking nice, that quality I find very cute.

Well i've been here since the 365 days mark .. i believe , in fact i dont remember real well the exact date when i discovered this site , but yeah  i've been always here , like a ninja between the shadows haha!.

I dont sign in too much , but i've always been visiting the site since i found it , and for what i've witnessed ( i also dont like to pick favorites)  there are a lot of good members here , but i believe that i'll go with SOMETHINGREAL again , JUNKERDE and GMAN2887 would be the chosen ones for me ( besides others) they're , you know , like straight to the point and the world needs more people like that.

JUNKERDE - I dont know how you do it but you always bring us the most fresh , last and spectacular news , i just dont know how you do it , but keep doing it!

GMAN2887 - you're a really wise man , a wise Godzilla man! , like somethingreal said :  you're a human encyclopedia. 

so yeah , those are my two cents. oh and our Captain CHRISPICARD : just thanks for creating this site it's awesome , helpful and a lot of fun!

You are one of my favorites too. You bring fun, entertainment, and great theories to the Godzilla forum. And on the Jurassic World forum you are an incredible writer.

haha, maybe years of watching Bundesliga, Premier League, Libetadores and Calcio made me skilled at the time of be a good ref. 

I must say thanks to all the guys here, because they have made a really good place to hang out with people who share our same likes; I hope see you guys all around  godzilla and scified for long.

@Something Real - Why, thank you! I'm surprised that I have earned an honorable mention from you despite me being largely an observer than a commentator here in this forum. 

I see myself as Godzilla - who appears right when the time calls for it? A force to be reckoned with eh? LOL haha I'm just kidding :P

Having said these, I personally do not have any favorite member to identify since everyone is awesome in their own way, but your comments and initiatives in this forum have certainly liven up the atmosphere here. And in a huge way I must say, you have added some sort of a character for this forum. - One that is respectful, open to ideas and non-dismissive. So much so that it puts people like me, including a number of others (I'm sure) to shame, because I think we are guilty of being unable to accept others' ideas and perspectives at times and we get readily defensive?

And this is commendable, because if you realized, such is the kind of positivity you give to other members that makes them speak up more and participate in exchanging ideas without fear of being laughed at, mocked or disrespected. It takes one member like you, Something Real, to make a whole lot of difference in how interactions should take place. 

And we need more members like you thriving in such a forum :) You know, when I first descended upon this site, all I see around me was bickering and fighting all around, and I could see the moderators including the site owner putting in their effort to make this forum a different one compared to others. And in that aspect, I do see success in that, because I would rather sacrifice the numbers than to see more posts from members who do nothing but bicker and pick fights all day long. 

So, thank you for being an awesome member, and if there's one thing I hope to see happen here, it's that the people here do not fade away once the hype for Godzilla 2014 is over, cos I'm gonna miss all that passion and excitement. ;)

My first pick would definitely have to be you, Something Real. I think you are a great member of this site. You are always contributing to everything, very nice personality and you always look on the bright side of things :)

My second pick would have to be Chris Picard because he is the admin and he takes full responsibility for this site. He works hard to keep this site together and he is always monitoring it and making it great site to be a member of :)
