The build up to the atomic breath

Picture this: Godzilla is fighting the Muto, possibly more than one. The city is in shambles, there is fire and chaos and dark clouds of smoke everywhere. For a moment, it seems the Mutos are winning. Sight of the battle is lost, but there are monstrous roaring and crashing sounds coming from the smoke. Godzilla lets out a loud yelp and for a moment it feels like he's beaten. After a brooding silence the spectators notice a faint blue glow somewhere in the smoke. Slowly the smoke parts, and Godzilla stands facing his enemy. He looks battered, and is still taking in some blows. His spikes are brightly glowing, as he starts to look very angry. One of the Mutos takes cover, taking it as a sign of warning. The other one though is more reckless and tries to charge on Godzilla. There's a deep churning sound, Godzilla's body starts trembling. His feet actually sink away into the ground beneath him as the generating of his atomic beam causes a gyroscopic motion in his body that makes him heavier. The Muto charges-

-SSSSSSSSSSFWANG___________BOOOOOOOOM!!!

In a flash, Godzilla shoots out his atomic beam. The muto is dismembered and falls to the side, the other muto that took cover is left unscathed but in the distant horizon an array of explosions forms horizontally across the sky. Spectators are horrified, nobody had even conceived of such a thing being possible. An entire line of sight is filled with flames in the distance as his atmoic breath can shoot incredibly far. Is this something like you picture it?
