MemberMothra LarvaeMay-01-2014 1:24 PMI have a theory about the MUTO in the new Godzilla 2014 movie.
Remember this first idea of what the MUTO look like?
But hey, this one looks completley different from the new design we saw, right?
Well, my theory is, (and I don't know if anyone pointed this out yet...) that these new MUTO designs are ACTUALLY an evolved or more developed version of the older one.
Think about it... in the Official Trailer, we can see some sort of... coocoon with these glowing orange bulbs on it. And in the newer Asia Trailer, it's there again... but bigger and curved.
So could these be egg sacs of some kind? Could these house the new MUTO? Do they evolve and develop wings? Will they soon become Vishnu?! It's just a theory... but we'll find out when we get more information, or when the movie comes out.
Only 14 days guys!
Hope you take my theory into thought, and happy days Godzilla fans!

I think it's a natural progression, really. However, when we first saw the Muto in the leaked Wondercon footage, it seemed to be a lot smaller overall in comparison to its latest appearance in the Asia Trailer. Or maybe I'm just not good with perspective. I don't know.

The MUTOs did have some white on them. Since the artist was doing it entirely by memory, it's possible he thought the MUTO was all white.
