Are the MUTOs Human?

Hello there. After a rather long night of studying various images of the MUTO organsnisms that have cropped up online, I come to appreciate their physical appearance for what it is - a truly frightening and alien physiology. Yet, I keep wondering: are the MUTO so alien after all? Could there be something very familiar that composes their biology, to wit human DNA? I know that sounds a bit strange, is it not true that the MUTO are "bolstered by man's scientific hubris"? Is it possible that Godzilla's nemesis is actually Man - just in a stranger and more terrifying form? As always, your thoughts and conjecture concerning this topic are greatly appreciated, even if you choose to keep them to yourself. :)

*POSSIBLE SPOILERS*

I dont think so. From what I saw in the Asia trailer, it appears that the MUTO organization woke up one (or maybe both) of the MUTOs from their cocoon (possibly trying to find a way to weaponize it), using electroshocks, but they obviously could not be controlled and escaped, wreaking havoc through the facility, and causing Godzilla to show up and fight them.

But maybe they can mutate by absorbing DNA from any organism, like the Alien or the monster from "The Relic" (1997). It would be shocking if one of them even got to have absorved Sandra Brody's (Joe Brody's wife) DNA, but it would be a bit cheesy, so I hope they don't put that in there.

Kidding aside. I really doubt this. They may have been tampered with, but no shated traits.

I highly doubt that this is possible. Yes, the Muto's are man-made, but the likelihood of them being connected to humans in any sort of way would be unlikely.

are the motos man made or are they acient enemies of godzilla? is one man made, and the other one acient? are they both man made? are they both acient? from the toys it said they are acient enemies of godzilla, and they were altred by humans. sombody please set me straight about this question?

Hey.....lets all wait to see the movie! Yup, sounds good to me! SOMETHING REAL, no one is sure of the muto origins but i can say for one thing it will be entertaining.....and sinister!

Thank you all so very much! These are fantastic answers that address a question I've been mulling over for a little while now; definitive feedback is imperrative! Thank you all a great deal! COCKZILLA - Godzilla being a mutated monotreme would be fantastic! ;) EVAN123 - Given the general concensus of those whom have answered, it seems very likely that the MUTO are going to lack human DNA bonding. It would be exceptionally neat were they to have human DNA to some degree, but that's very likely a drop in the dream pool! Thanks for your enthusiams, nevertheless! :)
