Airport battle: easter egg/homage?

Hey guys, I just like to get your opinions.

Gareth mentioned that he has easter eggs on this film. (A boy named Ichiro and someone named Serizawa) If I'm not mistaken Big G and MUTO will duke it out on the airport. Do you think this is also an easter egg and a homage to the 1995 film Godzilla vs Destoroyah.

Incidentally, MUTO, like Destoroyah, will have multiple aggregate forms in the film. And then a battle in the airport? I'm just speculating but this is all so exciting. Hopefully they don't kill him like they did back in 95.

As for that being an homage/easter egg, I'm not entirely sure.

Muto has NOT been confirmed to have multiple forms in this movie. Anyone who says it has is full of bs and is not to be trusted with information. The Muto's only have the forms in which they appear in within the trailers. There is no link to Destoroyah in the Muto creature, so please don't reference the Destoroyah rumor again. There won't be any multiple forms in this movie. No such information has ever been confirmed. Only speculated upon. Speculation is NOT fact.

So please don't get those two concepts confused.

Facts are your friends, and the facts are that the Muto's don't have mutliple forms.

The rodan jokes work so well because out there I think there probably is someone that still thinks rodan is confirmed.

He is 350ft Tall people, those things on his neck ARE gills, and the Brazil photo is part of the final advertising design-- Deal with it.

I agree everyone blows it a bit out of proportion, but even I am pretty tired of that "Rodan Confirmed" thing. That joke isn't particularly funny anymore to be honest, and Junkerde is kind of stomping into the ground.
