to the people who say rodan will be in the movie

I wish I could accept that as the truth, but so MANY people still think it's Rodan, it's insane. Just the recent international trailer had "it's rodan" comments all over it

my question is how many topics do we need about this rodan i apoligize to the rodan lovers out there but rodan is not in this movie :( but dont get your hopes up for the sequal if there is one, we might see him then :)

Rodan isn't in the movie just think about it rodan is one of the most iconic ally and used to be enemies of godzilla and it would cost a lot of money so that toho can let legendary and warner bros use one of their classic kaijus believe me it would be great but at least we re having new enemies that are an inspiration from other toho monsters. probably in the future if we are lucky enough to get a sequel maybe the new enemie would be and inpsiration from rodan or probably another famous godzilla enemy. ty for reading :)

You all cant guarantee jack, actually...  just sayin... maybe on 16 May, but now....nope!

I wouldnt just drop the idea that Rodan wont be in the film. Things can change it wouldnt be lieing ive seen this happen before. Fyi that does not look like a spider or praying mantis. they said it was insect type creature. Eaither they did a terrible job making that look like a insect or thats Rodan. I maybe wrong but, you cant be so sure he is not in it. Toho is working with them so I have no doubt that they wont throw him in there to spice it up. Also when they asked him about Rodan he basicly said he wasnt going to get into that. Like I said I maybe wrong but there is a high chance.

The guys from ign who have actually seen 30 minutes of footage from the movie (which is something none of you have, tall are just guessing) stated that the flying monster is rodan, and that the director stated it was. Watch the in rewind trailer and they'll explain it. I'll believe someone who has actually seen real footage rather than people guessing.

Those who believe that this is rodan need to get a grip. This is not rodan. Wutangman06, i have looked and found no such comments the ign guys. Disregarding What Gareth Edwards said about using an original monster, LEGENDARY DOES NOT OWN THE RIGHTS TO USE RODAN IN A FILM. It would be a huge copyright infringment upon Toho and we would already be hearing about a huge lawsuit between the two companies. the only monster that legensary manged to obtain the rights to use was Godzilla himself. Sorry guys. better luck next time.
