The possibility of underground ecosystems in godzilla 2014

So we all know that godzilla has been confirmed to be one of the last remaining of his "species" and that he has also been accompanied by some of his "foes" into modern times, but what is the possibility of there being  isolated and flourishing underground ecosystems that have been preserved from this irradiated period when godzilla supposedly evolved. The story could centre on how these "pockets" are affected and exposed by nuclear explosions etc in the 1950s and how the mutes and godzilla are now free to wreak havoc

How far can we push nature before it pushes back?

If you think about it, all fossils are generally found underground. I think that they'll find a little bit of Godzilla's origins underground in the movie. There's a scene where the scientist and others are exploring a skeleton of a monster underground. I think it's a dead Godzilla but everyone doubts it.

Um yes.

I've been pointing to the interconnecting sinkholes on the muto site for ages as to muto origins or story plot, but it seems like every1 has forgotten that site after the first trailer was released.
